This was the sequence
He as her husband has not touched her for a year after marriage
He has told her many times if you do not like me go back to amer she does not go
She writes a letter saying "I love you meet me tonight. I want to give you all husband rights" (as per jalal that is truth simple)
When he goes to her and ask her if its truth she holds his hand gives all encouraging signals saying yes all words in letter are truth
When he makes a final move as her husband after getting all signals from wife she pushes him to floor and says you are only my friend not husband. My heart, body and soul cannot be yours.
Which husband in 21st century forget 15th century keep quiet on such insult?
Do you all know 21st century law if husband/wife refuses to have relation after marriage spouse can ask divore immediately and not wait for one year. This is law in all countries not only india? Its certified as cruelty.
Any husband will then ask such a wife these questions(15th or 21st century)
1) Why are you staying with me and enjoying my wealth, position and privileges of wife/queen not only for you but your entire extended family?
2) You want all my positions but not duty of wife forget the physical aspect you shower abuses, torture me mentally day and night, insult me in front of my employees, citizens and maids etc and not even bother to support me like when elephant attcked to kill me you say leave amer so that my sister marriage happens without problems? 😕
All this forms cruelty to spouse in law in 21st century
3) I asked you before marriage will you want to marry me? You said yes but with sharth that you will not convert to my religion. You never said any clause like no husband rights, misbehaviours and mental cruelty were part of your clause. Then i would just reject marriage or think of something else to solve this issue

And remember he is emperor if he cannot handle his wife/marriage what shall he handle kingdom, wars, enemies etc? Today she is insubordination tommorow another wife next day body gaurds then citizens and army?
Do we not say jehangir could not handle a wife-nur jahan? No matter how good an emperor he was before or did good work don't we only remember him as a subservient husband of dominating and scheming nur jahan? Who knows jehangir may have done 70-80% of all decisions as emperor but nur jahan took 20-30% do not we think she was real power why? Do you know among first 6 mughal emperors jehangir had least wars and killed least people in his regime. Still we consider him as emperor ruled by wife simple.
Its all image - image matters a lot in this world. We may think this is between four walls. Nothing is between four walls ever. Even in neighbour hood do not people talk this man is always dominated by wife., this wife is very scared and subservient to husband, this guy always listens as per his mother etc. etc. Its all image. It may be correct or wrong but image matters a lot in outside world and one incident can ruin a person's image not for life but till end of world.
And like we know akbar did not have such an image. So why show contrary?
That is why i said akbar is acting more like jehangir in a previous post.
But i doubt even jehangir would have bent so much to nur jahan(forget other wives because he did not love them that much they were all political marriages arranged by parents extcept sahib jamal an commoner) as jalal has bent to jodha. Because although nur jahan wanted shah jahan to be punished for his offences(like bhagawat, killing brother khusrau) jehangir refused because he loved him no matter what just like akbar loved salim no matter what?
You rise in true love not fall in love.
I rest my case here. I have nothing against serial jodha or real jodha nor do i like real akbar or serial akbar. But i just felt as per my knowledge this is not akbar's nature and character. He could never have been that great emperor if his nature was that of being potrayed in serial akbar.
