** Office 200th Episode Celebration - Me & Office **

For this wonderful thread...

There are so many memories...that are the BEST moments of my LIFE and
SOOO painful at the same time...

the memories that only I can Cherish ... no second person knows... that he conquered me
and the Person who occupied the memories is UNFORTUNATELY NO MORE...😭..

THE REASON WHY I LIKE OFFICE IS...

THE NAME... KARTHIK... IT HAS MAGIC AROUND IT...

It used to be my Favourite actor's name... since my childhood i was very fond of Karthik's movies...my most favourite being agni natchathiram, mouna raagam and unnidathil ennai koduthen...

this happened last year...
i was going to Bangalore from Chennai for a three month apprenticeship in a so called
Big5 audit firm...
i am seated beside the window in Brindavan Express deeply immersed in my puzzle solving book...
i turn and see as someone says ..Excuse me...
there he stood smiling...
i said...yes...
he said ... can i sit here? showing the seat next to me...
i said ... why are u asking me? i'm sitting in the seat i've reserved and i've no idea who
reserved this ...
he said...i've reserved it and actually i want to know whether it is OK with you if i sit here?
i said...what will u do if i say that it would be uncomfortable for me?
he immediately replied... i will come standing...
and i couldn't control my laugh and couldn't stop it also for a few minutes...
he was just standing and staring at me...then i tried hard to control my giggling and said seriously...you can sit i've no problem...
he said thank you... and sat next to me...

i digged my head into my book and continued...

within five minutes...another excuse me...from him...
i looked at him seriously and asked...shall i come standing if u are feeling uncomfortable??
and this time he bursted into laughter...

then i scolded myself ...sweety...chup... no casual talking with strangers... and went back to my puzzle...

next day...
i enter the Hi-Fi audit firm... it was sooo cold inside that i thought from tomorrow
i should come with my sweater otherwise i'll die due to this icecold a/c...
the receptionist showed me the way to the Auditor's cabin under whom i should work...
i reach there...and peep through the glass door , i saw the Auditor in his revolving chair
talking to some guy sitting in front of him... i could see only the person's back...
i knocked the door, he stould up and i took a step back and waited...
cling... the door opens and the person standing in front of me was the same guy who
travelled in the train the day before...
both of us were equally surprised...
i went in and gave my profile to the auditor...
seeing it he asked me ...is this your real name?
me...yes sir...i'm Sweety...
he exclaimed...but it's supposed to be a pet name...
me...but it is my Given name...

he said OK fine... this is Karthik ... your fellow apprentice...
and you both are assigned under me for the next three months... and ur supposed to be
seated here and work...
both of us looked at the place he showed...
two systems were ready to be occupied to his right side...

they gave us two days of vigorous training and third day we started working together...

i don't remember how many times i saw the first two episodes of OFFICE on youtube
repeatedly for hours together... remembering my Karthik...

Oh God... I'm getting late...
will share the rest soon...
as i want to share this VERY personal side of mine to all my IF friends...

yes ramya...

he died in an accident on my Birthday last year...

this year my birthday was my sweetheart's first death anniversary...💔
hence didn't celebrate ...
