Shashi: (He's shocked... as he had hid this papers from her...)
Khushi: Tell me papa... (She said pleadingly)
At that time Garima and Buaji came there. They too stood still as they don't know how she came to know abot this.
Shashi: Khushi... am sorry... it's my fault... I thought to clear this without telling you... but I fell sick... (He couldn't complete the sentence...)
Khushi: Papa... I know that we have got a loan for jiji's marriage... But how come you missed the mortgage... I mean... you are very careful in this ... when we got loan before for our studies... We finished the loans without any issues... Why now? (She's so upset)
Garima: Khushi... You know Payal's marriage expenses exceeded our limit... So we couldn't pay the mortgage... (Tears filled her eyes)
Buaji: Yes Khushi... Also Shashi fell ill... (She too couldn't complete it)
Khushi: If we missed a mortgage, then they would have sent a notice letter first... (She questioned them)
Garima went and handed the letter to her. She went through it.
Khushi: Maa... why didn't you inform me earlier... I would have sorted this in some way... but now... see... they have sent a demand letter requesting the full payment within 10 days...
Garima: What... (Shocked)
Khushi: Yes maa... they have started the foreclosure process... if we didn't settle the amount then they will sell our house...
Garima, Shashi and Buaji sat in upset. Khushi paced here and there. She thought to herself "Khushi... how come you didn't notice this... Yeah... you know... papa was very conscious earlier... but now... he's getting old... you can't blame him... it's your responsibility... you should do something..."
Khushi: Okay... papa... you don't worry... I will deal this... (She said gaining confident)
Garima: But how Khushi... (Still worried)
Khushi: Don't worry maa... I will go to this bank and will request them to extend the date... (She said boldly)
On hearing this, they were relieved a bit. Next day, Khushi got up early and went to the bank. She talked with an assistant and when that person told her that she has to meet the Manager for her issue, she waited. That assistant informed the Manager abot her and got permission. When Khushi went in... she's shocked to see him again...
Arnav: Khushi... You... (He didn't expect her...)
Khushi: You... Manager... (She struggled for her words)
Arnav: Yes... Iam the Manager... (He signalled her to sit and she too sat)
She composed herself before starting...
Khushi: S... Sir... My father got a loan in your bank... He missed to pay the mortgage... Yesterday we received a demand letter from you... (She handed the letter to him talking seriously)
Arnav: (He went through it... He knows this issue... But he didn't know that it's Khushi's father...)
Khushi: Sir... Please extend the due date... So that... we can arrange and settle the amount... (Still seriously... she's so upset that she's asking him... But what to do... he's the manager now... so she convinced herself)
Arnav: Khushi... It's not possible... (He answered her...)
Khushi: Please... extend the date... (She said looking the desk as she couldn't see him...)
Arnav: Look Khushi... I can't do anything now... (Now he stood and came near her) Okay... If I extend the date... then what will I get... (Saying this he smirked at her)
Khushi: What... (Shocked)... You are doing your job... that's it... (She said looking at him)
Arnav: No... if I extend the date... then it's against my job... (Still looking at her)
Khushi: So... (She looked him at his eyes which were saying something else)
Arnav: So... If I extend the date... then you have to marry me... (He said his condition)
Khushi: What... Are you crazy...? (She shouted)
Arnav: If you didn't accept my condition... then the loss is yours... (Still with that smirk)
Khushi: Are you threatening me? (She's so furious now)
Arnav: You take that in any way... (He said coolly)
Khushi: Fine... leave it... I can arrange the amount... (She said boldly)
Arnav: How??
Khushi: That's none of your business... (Saying this she stood and picked the letter from his desk and throwing an anger stare she came out)

Khushi started to walk thinking abot how to handle this situation. In the meantime, Arnav thought "Khushi is so stubborn... I know that she likes me in her heart... I can read her eyes... though her mouth spills anger words to me... but no problem... it's very interesting to fight with my sweetheart... I like this thrill... but before she thinks abot any solution... I had to get her..."
Khushi reached her home. She didn't know how long it took for her to come as she's so lost in her thoughts. When she entered the door, she saw Arnav sitting with Shashi. On seeing her, Buaji came and pushed her to her room before she could utter a word. Garima gave tea to both Arnav and Shashi.
Khushi: Buaji... Why he is here... What is happening here... (She's so shocked)
Buaji: Khushi... first go and freshen up... (Saying this she pushed her into the washroom)
Khushi: Hey Devi Maya... What is going on... (She talked to herself...)
Buaji: (Banged the door) Hey Khushi... stop muttering...
*Flashback*
Before Khushi came to home, Arnav reached earlier. Arnav introduced himself to Shashi, Garima and Buaji. They too recognized him as they have seen him in Akash-Payal wedding.
Shashi: Arnav beta... Very happy to see you... Is everyone fine in your home?
Arnav: Yes uncle... Today Khushi met me in my bank... (He slowly started)
Shashi: (He, Garima and Buaji looked him confusingly)
Arnav: Yes uncle... Iam the Manager of the bank in which you have got loan...
Shashi: Oh... (He didn't know what to tell next...)
Arnav: Don't worry uncle... I have extended the date... And I assure you nothing will happen without my knowledge... (He said softly)
Shashi: Thank you very much Arnav beta... (He said thankfully)
Garima and Buaji too heard it and felt very relieved.
Arnav: Uncle... I had told this to Khushi itself... Actually... I came here to talk abot Khushi... (He released his puzzle...)
Shashi, Garima and Buaji looked him questioningly.
Arnav: Yes uncle... I like Khushi very much... I had fallen for her on our first sight... (He said looking at them)
Shashi: What... (He asked seriously)
Arnav: I wish to marry her... with your permission... (He looked at them)
Buaji: But... (She started)
Arnav: I know Buaji... You think that my parents should have started it... You are rite... but I thought to ask your opinion first... So that, I can ask my family to come here... (He slowly finished his puzzle...)
Buaji: No... Not like that... What we are thinking is... just now we have done Payal's marriage... So... immediately we can't do Khushi's... (She said thinking abot their financial condition...)
Shashi and Garima nodded for that...
Arnav: Don't worry Buaji... We will do everything... You just give Khushi to me... that's it... (He said softly with a smile)
They just looked each others face...
Arnav: Uncle... If you want to know abot me... you can ask Akash...
Shashi: No beta... not like that...
Arnav: Even I didn't talk to Khushi abot this... I thought to tell you first...
Garima and Buaji looked each other convincingly and signalled to Shashi... Then they smiled and said okay as they wished to settle Khushi in a very nice family...

When Khushi came out, Buaji brushed her hair and made her to sit in front of Arnav. She didn't know why they were behaving like this. Arnav stared her romantically.
Arnav: Okay uncle... My family members will visit soon... I need to go now... (Saying this he kept the tea cup on the desk and stood up...)
He got blessings from them and smirked at Khushi who is just gaping at him as she didn't know what had happened... Then he left the place with a victory smile...
