WHEN UDIT NARAYAN COULDN'T STOP SINGING
ON A ROYAL COACH: When the search for the perfect voice for a reality show on Sony began, the hullabaloo rocked the city. At this event, which was all about fanfare, the judges of the show – Anu Malik, Udit Narayan and Alisha Chinai – made a magnificent entry. They all came on nothing less than a palki, with rose petals being showered on them for a royal look.
BEHIND THOSE GLASSES:
Anu Malik, who hid his eyes behind huge sunglasses, had ready remarks ready for each question that was popped to him. "I feel it's payback time for me, so I'm trying to give the best singer to the society, who is chosen by the masses," he said. KAJRA RE: Alisha Chinai continued to flash her radiant smile all the while. When asked about her stint as a judge, she said, "Man! I have never been a judge all my life, so I am really nervous." And when asked if the tables were turned and she were asked to audition for a musical reali ty show, which song she would she said, "But of course, Kajra re… My recent hit." LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON: Singer Udit Narayan couldn't refuse all the people requesting him to sing. One could hear him crooning O mitwa umpteen times while speaking to spectators and mediapersons. His love for his son was evident, as he couldn't stop talking about beta Aditya and his singing aspirations.
WE WILL MAKE IT BIG: The runners up of the previous season of the show – Rahul Vaidya, Aditi Paul and Meenal Jain – were enjoying every moment of the limelight. It was difficult to recognise Aditi, who was at her glamourous best. Mini Mathur looked lovely in her pink outfit. She was her ch i r py self, talki n g ab o u t her int e r a c - tion with the participants. THE MAKEOVER
Aditi Paul looked glamourous in a brown skirt and top. After seeing her on TV as the girlnext-door, it definitely came as a surprise. "This is what stardom and Mumbai life does to you, I guess," said Aditi, who is - originally from , Kolkata.
