Love blossomed between Nikhil Mehta and Sonal Vengurlekar on the sets of The Buddy Project

One plays the funny yet perfect friend while the other played a possessive girlfriend. However, in real life they make the perfect pair!!!

Well, we are talking about Nikhil Mehta (Piddi) and Sonal Vengurlekar (Rukmini) who met and bonded on the sets of Channel V's The Buddy Project (Sunshine Productions).

And the best part is that we stumbled upon some cute pictures of this couple (see above), and decided to call them to know about their love story.

Here is a blushing Sonal sharing her love life story with Tellychakkar.com. "Initially we both hated each other but as time passed, we started talking and realised that we both had similar issues in lives. As we shared our problems, the bonding just grew strong, and didn't know when love actually happened. Touchwood, today we are a happy couple although none of us has officially proposed to each other."

Ask her whether the duo has proposed love and she states, "I have been pestering him to propose me, but he says he will do that in a very special manner. Even though he doesn't discuss it, I am sure it will be something really great, in front of more than thousands of people."

And how is Nikhil as a boyfriend, we ask her. "He is really sweet and understanding; he is the best boyfriend any girl can ask. He makes me feel really special and is very loving," Sonal smilingly avers.

She also informs us that the couple plans to settle down in three years and till then they are working hard to build their careers.

We also called up Nikhil who confirmed his relationship but asked us to call later, for he was busy shooting.

We wish the couple a blissful life ahead.
