Well it just struck me that the short form of this serial SR and the initials of the lead pair, Suman and Rajeev, match. They truly are a positive influence on each other. take Suman for instance. Before marrying Rajeev they show her as an undecided character, who plays along with her parents plan to get her married to Rajiv but develops cold feet in the end and tries to elope with Prem only to go back and marry Rajeev when she is shocked by the guruji's prediction about her husband's short life.
After marriage she is becoming more bold in taking decisions - although they do not directly involve her. Case in point stopping Papaji from performing the last rites for his much alive daughter. Reasoning with Durgesh kaka to accept Jignesh and give the money for the business. Fighting for Tanu even to the extent of slapping Kul and getting the phone. It is another matter that shalaka tried to use this to her advantage. But she is shown to become more bold. Even with Prem she sent him packing on holi day and told him in no uncertain terms that her place was with Rajeev as his wife.
Take Rajeev. A man with a heart of gold but totally ignorant in matters of romance. Remember on the first day of marriage he gave her a locket and parroted a few lines about love which was sounding quite false as he himself admitted he cannot say filmy dialogues. But marriage to Suman is changing him. He is writing a love story and is getting tips from Suman from time to time. He asked her out for dinner is that cute manner, keeping a card and rose in a suitcase and asking suman to open it who thought he had kept some office files in it. He cooked lunch for her in the hope of capturing her heart. He is getting better at romance.
So both Suman and Rajeev are just right for each other because they bring out the best in each other. That's what couples are supposed to do. He is making her a strong person, although the only blip here is her running away after the MMS fiasco. She, in turn, is inspiring him to be more romantic.
