yes the two, he and the fiery khushi of sanaya did indeed make falling in love so easy... i am ever grateful to them for bringing love back centre stage. chills my heart when i hear young people say, all they want to do is make money... instead here, all of us swooning over romance, for pyaar, young and not so young alike... what a feeling.

i too, sir, am given to hyperbole... hyuk. now i have come to love and accept my this dear trait. and like you, i can swear... never ever has this happpened to me before... that too thanks to a hindi soap hero.

you never know where the real gems scatter...jaded and tired of our "higher" arts i switched on good old telly, and there was this flawless one, sparkling at a veritable d... his goofball content turning the whole thing to such a rare thing.

good to see you.

Thanks Indi ... Like Stg said I hope he aware of his talent ... Hope to see him soon ... I earlier used to think he will rock Bollywood ... But lately feel he lacks the killer instinct you need to supervise in that jungle ... And I think I read somewhere ... I think Aakshay Dogra had mentioned that he really is not your run of the mill running after money and accolades kind of guy ... So who knows ... But I shall be there to support him all the way in anything he does ... And know you will too as will a lot on thus forum ... Look forward to reading more of your posts ... Always a delight ...

I am one of those people who started watching this show at epi 100 where his incomplete hug became my complete obsession with him and this show.Obsession of admiring a flawless , ardent, cordial, honest, warm and bonafide actor who lives in million hearts and has changed the perception of perceiving acting and actor himself. A man of shades with the title "King of expression" has indeed earned it by setting norms so high just by the presence of his eyes and body/If looks could kill, the million murders will be on his neck as each breath just gasps over each and every action of him.He was not only a Khadoos, Laad Governor, Karela, Kans, Shaitan for Khushi but also for every Khushi who was on the other side of the screen and has crossed the age barrier for loving this guy.

I followed him during Baat Humari Paki hai and then I rewinded myself with his character in Sharadha and Dil Mil gaye...different shades and different calibers as he was coming out of his cocoon but when he came out of it with full flapping wings and since then he just spread joy and happiness along with his magical husky style.

Shades from intense Diwali or forced marriage , from Holi to teri meri, from lover to husband really reflect his real side where he touches hearts just by simple one look and with his husky voice he entangles that heart for forever and that's what he did and that majority just can't forget those two pair of eyes even after one year of his absence. That is some power that speaks volume. One glimpse of him is enough for melting heart of any one. He is a shining star without having any training of becoming star , such a natural born actor we have in between us.

A man whose ambition is just be himself and do the best , what an earthy man he is.Indeed...May God bless him!!!

What is acting?

The ability to convince the viewers that what they are watching is real even though they are fully aware that it is not. (Heard this in a reality show) Isn't that so true about the actors of IPK? Barun and Sanaya delivered amazingly most of the time. The rest of the cast too performed to the best of their abilities whenever required. Not that we haven't seen stellar performances before, but on repeat views we would often lose interest.

But IPK is exceptional. Even after watching it so many times, we still haven't got over it. In fact, we feel the pain, the love, the passion, the restlessness, the anger, the confusion, the amusement, the warmth even more. Why is it that a scene still evokes such wide range discussion? Why is it that we feel that the lead couple are real and are living a happy life at some unknown place?

Yes Indi. It is really the acting. That of a powerful performer like Barun, of a versatile actress like Sanaya, a pro veteran like Jayashreeji and the very talented members of the rest of the ensemble.

My first wow moment on IPK was the Krishna Janmakatha narration by Khushi. I had seen Sanaya in an earlier show but never knew much about her. That story narration was the best that I had ever seen. And after knowing about the background of Sanaya, I was more at wonder. It was the breakdown scene that brought my attention to Barun. For someone like me who was more concerned about the story rather than performances, visual appearances or individual looks, I was bowled over by his acting. And from there, as the story got diluted, it was the acting of the leads that stood out.

hearts.

that's what ipk made us all reach. it was via the seismic attraction many of us felt for barun, or the jodi incomparable and hot, but lit was leading us to our hearts all the time. so i guess, it is one thing we again learnt to pour out, i am smiling as i write this... the happiness and dil factor of ipk is something else.

thanks for coming here. will read your update.

i missed this earlier... or maybe you posted after i left...

faiqa,

a man who lives in a million hearts just by being himself.

such a simple yet perfect way to put it. in a world where we are forgetting how to be ourself, where the image has fogged us, our minds, even among friends and fam we forget to just be who we are, along comes this really fine actor and refuses to be anyone but himself... how not to be completely charmed by this. add to that as you say his "bonafide actor" element, aur indi toh bik gayi.

loved your thoughts... episode 100... how did an untrained actor find and express those feelings? most guys
would look ridiculous with their arms held out and paused, typical television editing going on, round and round teh camera roves... yet it all looks natural, it moves you, you want to feel his pain... yes that's what he did... he wanted me to fell asr's pain, his gussa, his arrogance, his love, his his everything...

some actor, our boy. if the screens decide not to show him again, it will be a sad loss for this industry, this art.
