The story line is on the track, CV's are addressing the problem...
Like a difference in the social status, the fraud marriages, the violence against the poor, the greed to get the property, the male dominance over female and most important violence against the women...

So, far concept was clear and I liked it...
I can't stand negativity and I said that before...It's most probable, that if I am not as dumb as bani is shown in the show, I can take stand...I know I can!

"Yes you can!" is something that this show is missing...
Today, every show that promise that they will address the worst problems like I mentioned above...

They often fulfill there promise but they forget to show the solution! I would prefer to see "HOW?"

We all know the problem we are facing, but we want to see how? How a women can stand for her rights?

And here most of the shows fall apart. In the end bad person like parmeet would ask for a sorry and Bani will forgive him...Is that sorry enough? Sorry has become a mere word today...
How many times you would say that sorry? million times and you will be forgiven.People don't know the real meaning of sorry in today's world.
Most likely instead of telling what makes us sick, tell us what can make us healthy!?

CV's wake up please, it's a high time before you loose all your viewers.

Very good post! That has always been my problem with Indian shows! I do not mind watching the grey characters insult the good characters, so long as the grey characters pay for their misdeeds in a more harsh manner than just a mere sorry.

What is sorry? Just one word with two syllables. It has become such a common word that it no longer has the desire effect. Why forgive someone who has ill-treated you in an emotional manner as well as physical manner. Why not make them see that what they did was wrong, and that they need to understand the consequences of their actions effectively in order for them to even begin the road to repentance.

This show has been very good in depicting various social wrongs that exist in our society. The wrongs we normally turn a blind eye to and quite frankly by not solving those wrongs in the show, the makers are telling us, that we what we are doing on a daily basis in our lives are right, when we know its not right. This is the perfect platform to give women a voice, to show women that they can do more even if they are not literate, etc. But often that message is thrashed in the name of love. Totally and utterly wrong. I hope one day we do get a show where reality is depicted with solutions being provided to enable those in similar situations to see light.

Very interesting and relevant post !
I feel like the cvs thinks that we all watch the drama for the win of love/romance but really we're all also interested in a strong character who is master of herself.

By the time the cvs realized that they should stop with the fake drama and take a go at the real issues they usually run out of ideas and money and just delete the show. It's pathetic. I always find myself saying "i could have done a better job than that" while watching a show and that's a shame.

Nice post, I agree. When they take up social issues, it's not enough to show the bad things. Everyone knows they happen. The point is to show a realistic way to find a solution
