wat saanchi gets by creating a rift between ira and meenu wat is the profit for her by doing lyk tat

I can't figure out the exact gain that saanchi gets by separating ira and meenu...

I think she wants to take benefits of being a single child to Ira-Alok and gain that importance, which was kind of getting side-lined due to Shiv's presence and achievements.

Hooked, as you said, hope Saanchi's attempts to cause rifts in family turn her into a new leaf eventually. Because honestly I am too bored of Sa's nastiness and Anandi's niceness (softness). It's hard to deal with these two extreme characters.

Sanchi wants to gain -

- complete attention, support and love from Ira as her single child.

- total removal of Anandi's interference from her life (by driving home to Ira that Shiv's not her own son nor Anandi her own DIL).

- shared victim complex that family doesn't care or has ganged up against them

She wants to make Ira value her as she's the only one who's her own and not bash her/write her off as mad or whatever, for sake of "others".
