It just seems clearer and clearer every day. The CV's / Ekta really do not like the jodi that happened between ARVI. I still hold (I know many disagree) that the original plan by Ekta was for Arjun-Ovi and Purvi was brought in to be the antagonist. But she wasn't prepared for, and has been miffed about it ever since, the undeniable chemistry between Arjun and Purvi.

For whatever reason, maybe diverting the original track on other fronts too, their success as a couple has not been celebrated by the PH. Used, but not loved. It seems pretty obvious. No other show would EVER treat a extremely popular and successful relationship like this. Not one.

Naava, a character like Purvi can never be the antagonist in an Ekta serial. Shes the epitome of an Indian serial heroine, middle-class,modest, simple yet spirited, respectful, stands up for the rights of others, self-sacrificing, always tries to help others and gets in trouble herself, always thinks abt others first, etc. Whereas Ovi was the typical antagonist, utterly selfish, arrogant, rude, disrespectful, obsessive, tries every means to get the guy who loves the other girl and so on...

Ekta had planned for ArVi to fall in love, it was the typical rich boy-poor girl romance, alongwith office romance of Khadoos Boss and spirited employee (seen in 90% of her serials)😆

But then she always creates these cute couples, then separates them by getting them married by force to other people. Hence, Arjun was forced to marry Ovi whom he didnt love and Purvi ended up marrying the good doctor.

Ekta keeps on separating her main couples so that viewers keep on watching to see if they will reunite or not? 😆 Arent we doing the same right now? Waiting for Purvi to find out the truth abt Arjun's illness so they can finally reunite? 😉

That is Ekta's typical plot...keep on separating, then reuniting...she did the same for ArMaan also...but at least she let ArMaan have 4-5 yrs together but even those 5 yrs were full of drama and bad incidents!

But I agree, ArVi has been treated horribly by PH and Ekta but theres another reason for that too...because they are the 2nd leads so Ekta didnt like them becoming more popular than the main leads. So ArVi story was trashed more than any other couple! 😉

until Naren and Ankita track picks up popularity, Arjun and Purvi track will be shown.

then in one episode, like Manav finding the truth about Sachin, Purvi will come to know the truth. with one slap (who will slap who?) everything will solved and moved as if nothing happened. 😆

😆😆 Yes, the SLAP! The slap is very important in PR script, its the most important prop! 😆

I agree, they wont show Ovi being caught so soon...but I was hoping they would, because we are so sick of Purvi crying and Arjun being majboor for 20 yrs!

Youre right, they will drag the ArVi -Ovi track till Ankita Naren jodi picks up momentum!

Archu shd have seen Purvi's tears and realized something was wrong and I thought she did look suspicious but her dialogues didnt match her expression. She just told Purvi to stay back for a while and talk to Arjun. Perhaps she thought ArVi still had some issues they needed to work on?

And Yes, Arjun could easily spend his "last 2 months" with Purvi and Pari but I guess he doent want them to find out abt his illness which they will find out if they live with him. So stupid! If a person finds out hes dying wouldnt he want to spend his last months with the people he loves? 😕

What i found odd and so sloppy is that this was the first time Arjun and Manav saw each other in 20 years. They barely acknowledged one another. No one even sat down...it was in the door, standing in the doorway almost, we've come to set the wedding almost the first words out their mouths, and of course wondering about Ovi.

Naava, they did sit down at the end, after ArVi returned from the other room, Manav and arjun sat on one couch, Archu and Teju sat on the other one and Purvi was just standing like she got a punishment in class! 😆

Thats when they were disussing delaying ArVi wedding for 2-3 months till he completes his supposed project!

Yes, poor Teju didnt even have any dialogues! All of them shd quit this serial, they are ALL being wasted here!

its impossible anyone can beat arman/sushita popularity in PR. there r no personal rivalry between ekta and arvi so dont need to think ekta spoiling arvi story as all daily soap story has good and bad phase.PR was most popular show bc of arman popularity and it never pick up after sushant quit that means no jodi can pull audience like arman.arman popularity helps them getting most popular awards[they got 44awards]

Not talking abt Sushita here, I know how popular they were...Sushant quit more than 2 yrs ago, BEFORE ArVi appeared in the show...Im talking abt the present Manav and Archana.

Sushkita, I am an ARMAN fan, but even I can see there is something wrong. I have never seen a couple so badly treated as ARVI. This has nothing to do with RD and Asha. I think the professional relationship is good. But as for the characters, it is way way more than the ups and downs of a show.

Look. It's preferable actually that there can be only one lead couple in each show. But the ARVI jodi was so strong, and then at a time when the storyline for ARMAN was bad, that pretty soon it did happen that that there were two competing leads for PR. Not out of malice or anger or jealousy. It just happened. And it's right that Arjun and Purvi not replace ARMAN. The stardom for PR should belong to Archana and Manav. (let's not mix in the actors only the characters are we discussing).

But this does NOT give the right to trash the 2nd couple. Recognize their talent, their amazing chemistry and move them out in a nice way. It's really very small minded of Ekta and the CV's to do it this way...the way they are doing. And now, Ankita has the main attention as the new young girl... which she should have..I am happy for her. So. iplease. just phase out ARVI, don't destroy the beautiful jodi that developed. No one is "comparing" the two as if they are in competition. They aren't. I am only saying what is completely obvious. You cannot find another couple in the Indian soaps who have been treated like ARVI.
