it is really difficult to say who is best ..

Norton is good one .. but most of the new virus first attack norton and disable the same ans then u required to reinstall all the system as most of the time u are not able to recover the norton .. currenty am using Mcafee its quite good one ...

Mc-Afee and Norton are both resource hungry...... and have very patchy memory management to say the least....

I have been using AVG and Avast (free editions of both) and have no problems whatsoever....for the past 15 months.

I am currently considering going Pro for avast.

i been using windows live one care for over a year now. It has some pretty cool features.
