Exactly. Ruqaiya's behaviour and nature can't be blamed to her past entirely. She IS arrogant and there are no excuses for it. To make matters worse she is borderline cruel too. Salima had it worse but she ain't like her.

Soni I totally agree with u... Her behavior is like that becauz Jalal gave her more importance then he did to the rest of his begum.. Jalal gave Ruqqaiya almost everything she wanted.. That's y she turned out to be like this..

I feel very little sympathy for Ruku...Power has gone to her haed and this more of Jallu's fault...he keeps telling her she is the best and she is most intelligent but I find no intelligence in her...And what little they have shown of Ruqlal reltionship, she doesn't understand him either ...Still Jallu claims that she understands him most...

Salima on the other hand is very dignified and simple soul...She has been treated very harshly by life but it has only made her more compassionate...towards others...
