what was the gist of what they were saying?

I take it Jeejaji was lusting for Paro ( yep another one!)
but i wasn't sure what the other guy was saying though i don't think he likes Rudra much!

the side characters get my vote after seeing these auditions

My translation skills are pretty sucky but basically Jaidev's character is resentful of Rudra's contol over him Apparantly Rudra opened a shop or something for him but he doesn't like his interference.

Jeejaji is definitely in lusting mode, However his lusting is universal and not aimed at any one person.😆 He's checking out some woman with his binoculars and says he feels like he's surrounded by beauty like a lotus in dirt. Talking about lotus flowers he remember what a beautiful lotus his saaley sahib has brought home in Paro...he quickly corrects himseld by saying Paro Bhabhi so it seems he knows his limits. He then talks about the elder saaley sahib who has a lotus in the home and one behind the house called Laila. He then moans about his lack of luck and then cheers himself up by telling himself to carry on the way he is and maybe one day he to will get lucky. This guy is awesome.

By the way welcome to the forum...nice to meet a fellow Brit 😊

Jaidev also looks like a possible negative character - wow so much analysis from a couple of promos!

Yes it's lovely to meet a fellow brit too! I haven't managed to see the RR promos on Colors yet - have you? what times do they come on?

You're welcome😊. I've caught the promo a few times now. Last weekend it showed a couple of times during Comedy Nights With Kapil...I generally start watching at 10.15pm after NB 6 ends. I also caught it a couple of times during the Sunday afternoon movie. The second promo is showing with a great deal more frequency than the first. For the first I remember sitting through some diabolical serials before finally seeing it twice.

Saw all auditions. Didn't understand a word. But really liked Soniya's as compared to all other Laila's. Thanks for the translations for the lecherous jijaji, Jaya. Wonder why there's always a lecher at home, in Indian serials?
