Beautiful job by the EBPteam . They are really trying to get us this message of how society exploits in the name of traditions.
Today Astha got a glimpse of the real NA, who was going to throw water on Anjali, but stopped when he saw Astha. So we knwo why Anjali and Shlok also throw water on others. Although on a funny not. I have to say that Astha actually threw water on Anjali not once but twice till now. Jokes apart, so one learns bad or good behaviour by seeing it. Good parents produce good prodigy, whereas people like Anjali and NA have given the dark side to Shlok. Astha has only heard his taunts yet . Let us see what will happen when she sees the physical abuse too.
Another important behaviour which needs to be changed is that by Aaju. aaju is a very modern female , but at the same time , she tells Astha that if your in laws want this ritual , you shoudl do it, It is very natural for parents of the girl to tell her to follow the customs of the in laws even if they are wrong ,because they have this insecurity that if their daughter does not listen , she will be in the bad books of the in laws. One must teach that if the person doing it does not believe in it , then It should not be done. We have to become strong to resist this pressures of the society.
No questions should be asked.
Astha again got her punishment today of taking off Shlok's shoes as she took the phone from his hand and interrupted what he was doing. He was probably going to call somebody to close the case, but Astha's impatient, her insecurities and her disbelive in Shlok which she showed by disconnecting that call made her get the punishment.
So Shlok is going to continue this behaviour , till she changes her behaviour and attitude.
I like the way Shlok tells Astha that he will tell her about this puja and smiles. I thought he was smiling at the fact that Astha does not want to do this puja and will resist . Hewants her to resist. To satnd up against Anjali and her age old blind traditions. When will Astha learn to understand these twisted dialogues of Shlok? When will she see the Shlok behind the mask.
Do not want bashing here from some of the forum members saying that oh the guy is abusing her and that i am supporting it. No he is showing her the abuse so that she will fight it and stand for her own self respect, her principles and for the right thing.
The pre cap was said a lot of things. He makes it obvious to us that he loves her , but to Astha he is the mean double faced man. He took her picture and asked her why did she dress up to please her husband or because it is the love for her father that she is going to do this puja.
So the pati pujan will be another test day for Astha. Will she make Shlok succeed in this small battle and go against Anjali? I think she will and Shlok will indirectly support her. He was irritating her so much by telling her that he is her parameshwar , whether she likes it or not. I think he is waiting to hear back form her. So Can Astha fight.? yes, lets wait impatiently for Monday .
