A Handfull Of Love

His face in the silvery light of the moon looked positively ghastly with terror, his eyes wide open and almost glassy, and his whole body trembling, as if with ague, while a piteous wail escaped his bloodless lips. The rope which had originally been wound round his shoulders and arms had evidently given away, for it laid tangle about his body, but he seemed very much conscious of it. With every twist and turns the wounds got deeper on his hands, he was scared... for the first time in his life Uday Veer Singh was scared of something, but his situation was evident too. He was caught, for the first time the fearless tiger was entrapped. He thought that it was his game but all along she was the gamer. He thought that he was going to cheat on her, but it was she who back fired his plan. He was the one to fall in her charms by mistake, though he was never emotionally attached to her, yet he crushed himself for losing control over himself and risking his entire tribe. A lone tear escaped his eyes as he painfully yet with much anger spat

"JAINANDINI"

This was the name of the Queen of the Scarlet, the tribe that ruled on the other side, and was into always fight with their tribe regarding some boarder, Uday was the most bravest boy of his tribe and hence he was entitled Veer by the king Of Five Rivers, this name was given to their tribe as they valley was surrounded by five rivers. Uday had panted his foot in this land hopping to trick the queen and conquer the land but the plan was back fired. He crushed himself for not listening to her. For the very first time he regretted his action on Manyata. Yes the nerd in the tribe, who could never get even one thing right, she was born with miss fortune because she was born with a strange mulberry mark on her shoulder and her parents abandoned her, she did her living by working at his father s farm. He was a little generous to her and nothing else, they both grew up together and it was soon that he was aware that nerd had fallen for him. But he had more beautiful girls dwelling over him and so she was always on his hit list. Either he would make her run behind the bulls, clean the ranch or mock at her love stricken nature. He hated her but she loved him and maybe that was the reason behind that even after everything she would never leave him even today. His thoughts were disturbed abruptly as he heard something falling off from its place; it did not take him much as he muttered under his breath

"manyata"

There was a since of irritation, as he watched her appear in her dark, dusty ghagra her choli was torn and her blouse had mud covering, he looked at her, but she seemed not to move, there was no expression in her face, just tears rolled down her cheek. She felt the pain of the wounds in her own body, as she rushed to him and her hands went caressing his cheek as she said

"uday I am so sorry to be so late...I am so sorry"

He jerked his face away and said in a rude irritated tone

"Get your smelly hands off my handsome face and untie me as fast as an"

She smiled, though he did not appreciate her braveness yet she felt ease that he was fine as her hands went untying the rope and she spoke

"I am glad that you are fine and back to yourself"

"I don't understand why the king could not send for a better rescuer"

"Coz love I insisted him to send me... I wanted to be the savior of my prince"

"Savior my foot... and don't you dare call me by those cheesy names ever again"

She nodded her head as the last rope was untied too, he stood up stretching himself as she was knelling on the floor, the tears of joy was falling from her eyes on the ground, as he looked around and asked

"So where is the escape?"

"You can go away and hide yourself in one of the oil tanks that they export in the boats and then you can just jump in the river in the right time and swim back"

"No wonder you smell so bad anyway if this is the only chance then I is in it, you stay here so that they do not feel my absence... while I make an escape"

She did not say a word just looked into his eyes, as she watched him walking away, he ran as fast as his wounded feet could take him, that nerd was right he thought the escape was indeed brilliantly planned as he reached there was a huge feast for a whole week. At the end of the week, one of the day while taking a walk round the ranch he noticed how dirty it had become it needed to be cleaned, it was the time to bring her back maybe.. So he walked to the king so that he could ask to send another rescuer. The king laughed aloud to his request and said

"uday you should be glad that miss fortune had left our tribe and we will not be risking any of our tribe life for her"

"But my majesty when I was trapped you did intend to risk my life, then why just not for her... moreover she own our tribe"

"not our tribe uday...just you...I was never in favor of sending anyone to rescue you and your parents too was satisfied and had no complain...it was only her panicking about your lost and so with her will she went there to save you. She already knew that we were not going to rescue her, landing there was like calling dead and she willingly agree no one forced her not even your parents it was all by her will, so I do not think we should mourn over her dead"

A thunder struck him everything came like a flash to him, she loved him...more than anyone in the world...no one not even his parents bothered ...it was only her. It had been only manyata always, a sudden toil of emotion ran through his mind, as he stood motionless and tears fell down his cheek, he did not see any direction just ran, as fast as his feet could take him, he stopped in front of the river as he jumped in it and started to swim through it, his tears was being washed away by the river water. He realized that he was wrong all the way, she was not a nerd just a girl who loved him and he destroyed her...she did not even confess that no one cared about him..She accepted all his accusing but now it was his turn he would bear all her anger and arrogance but make her his forever. He would tie her with the eternal knot of marriage and never leave her sight. He would give her all the love she deserved and fill her life with joy and color. There was an eagerness to meet her, though he was not sure whether he avoided all the danger and ran into the place where he was trapped too. There was an unknown happiness in his mind, he felt proud that he would be saving her; he clearly knew how it felt when she had come to rescue him. He opened the dungeon door and the scene in front of him bought him down into his knees there was his angel laying in internal sleep, her clothes were toned many parts, and there was a lot of cut mark in her body. Uday took her body into his arms, as he caressed her face, he wiped the dried blood from her face with his tears. He could have imagined the dreadful things that had happened to him as a voice spoke from behind. He looked back it was a damsel in a white washed court and a halo round her head. As she spoke with a painful voice

" 7... she survived for 7 days here...and suffered many thing that cannot even be imagined..Look at her body uday...you will find many parts were cuts"

He looked closer to find that her arms and legs were filled with a deep cuts through which dried flesh could be seen, as she continued

"They tried to cut her hands body with sword her yet she did not open her mouth about you, they tried to starve her to dead, they used there last tact, they send 40 recruits to tear her body into pieces but she kept murmuring with her eyes ragging with fear that she and the right to her belonged only to you, they could not touch her she killed herself before they could do anything to her...she was not a nerd but a brave fighter...she was born to fight...she was brave than any other person in the land. The mark was of a fighter who could have saved mankind only if someone had accepted her instead of treating her in a way like this. only if someone was willing to give her a handfull of love"

"I ..lo..ve her...I love you manyata please come back... please you promised me never to leave me... please come back I cannot stay without you...please manyata ..."

The damsel sat by her side and caressed her hair as she said

"She will not come back ever uday...and I am here to take her"

He looked at her and sat on his knees and begged

"Ok then take me along too I cannot stay without her please take me along"

"You know that day she too begged in a silent way to you...she wanted you to take her away... you should have valued her love then"

He embraced to the body tighter and kept screaming

"I will not let go off her...I will not leave her"

The damsel smiled and said

"She deserves a better life ahead and you deserve to be lonely after all this is what you had wanted"

"Please give me a chance I promise never to leave her...Please I will always love her please"

Tears could be visible in her eyes as she said

"I am not supposed to do this but seem your emotions have tied me"

Saying this she untied some invisible rope and soon he watched the glow return to manyata face as she gradually started to breathe back. The damsel asked uday to hurry, holding the unconscious manyata in his hands he ran off , as he stopped near the city, he did not want to go back to the place so he decided to go somewhere unknown place, he saw a raft but there was no one so he kept manyata in the raft and tied the rope round his waits as he swan for continuous twenty hour, he reached an unknown land in the bright day light tired he and exhausted he was but that did not stop him. He took manyata into his arms and walked till he found a hut. The old couple was generous enough to give them shelter and give medical treatment to manyata. It was so that this place was isolated only with the old couple; uday did not even drink water before he was assured that his dearly loved manyata was fine. After five hour when he was assure that she was fine, he walked into the room as he watched her sitting and looking up the ceiling as he held her hands but she immediately withdraw it, there was a fear in her eyes, which was evident due to the tortured she suffered since this days, but after being aware of his presence she passed a weak smile, as he caressed her face and said

"manyata"

She withdrew her face a little and said in a formal tone with tears swelling in her eyes

"Thank you for helping me I know it was not easy but I am glad that you came"

Unfortunately he was in no mood to listen to her as he placed his top lip to her bottom lip, and then sucked it gently. She was too shock but gradually she opened her lips as he bites on her bottom lips softly, but a soft moan escaped from her mouth as he licked the area smoothing her pain. Then he put his tongue in her mouth. They meets half way, he curved his tongue to the right and massage her tongue gently, soon out kiss started to be more passionate their tongues fought each other like enemies she was going all breathless as he went chewing and nibbling on her lower lips. We parted away with a soft peck. Her cheek had turned crimson red and she was looking elsewhere but not into his eyes, as his eyes penetrated into hers, he knelled in front of her and said

"manyata will you be my better half? Will you spend my life with me?"

She looks at him as tears flows down her cheek and she tells with a voice broken with sorrow

"But you hate me...I am bad luck...I am a nerd"

"sshh love don't you dare drop a tear more they are too much precious for me...I love you..I don't care what they think of you as I love you and that s all I really know"

She smiles and said

"If you are ready to accept me the way I am then I too do not care about anything else"

She scoped her head into his chest as he kissed her hair.

Wait the story is not taking an end there is a bad bad yet to come. After that they were happily married, the old couples loved them like their own child, uday too could not even will to leave manyata even a minute alone. His love was showering through his kids, after a year manyata gave birth to one baby boy, Umedh and the next year a daughter Anaya, and then after that a girl again Ahana and still counting well this is the bad bad thing ...
