Mandira Bedi and Raj Kaushal are planning to start a family once Mandy returns home from the World Cup

After eight years of a happy married life Mandira Bedi and Raj Kaushal feel it's time to give their life a whole new meaning. Raj reveals that having a baby is one of the first things on their agenda when Mandira gets back from the World Cup.

Says Raj, "When Mandira and I got married in 1999, we were both quite young and having a baby was not the first priority for us. It's been a long time since then and as we were both busy with our respective careers, having a baby got postponed indefinitely. But now we think it's the right time and it's the first thing on our agenda once Mandira gets back from the World Cup."

Raj reveals that he and Mandira are both extremely fond of kids and they even plan to adopt one. He says, "I love the idea of being a father and spending time with my child, teaching him things and take him fishing. I'm equally fond of boys and girls and all I want is a healthy baby. In fact we want to have our first child and then adopt a second. Mandira has been clear about the fact that she wants to bring up the kids herself and not leave them to nannies. She wants to enjoy motherhood and will not take up any work for two years. I feel this is the right time and I really can't wait to start a family."

Mandira Bedi who is anchoring the World Cup in West Indies was unavailable for comment.

b4 the world cup started.....i saw her on the news...she was giving her best wishes to the indian team and was giving her suggestions and comments on how the team shud play...she was really excited about it...

but after the WC started....i also havent seen her around...

she is anchoring the telecast on Sony Max - the program is called Extraaa Innings... She and Charu Sharma, Dean Jones, Henry Olonga, Ayaz Memon and a few other guests are on the pre match show everyday for 2 hours before the match, and then innings break etc...
