Last week in some thread which I cannot find brick_red posted something on intuition, and others pooh-poohed it. But I agree with brick red.

see today -- Ira always KNEW and I believe in some way everyone has a knowing...today she was recounting.;..

1. she remembers today that she never saw any happiness on alok's face about becoming a father.

2. she remembered something about Meenu's abnormal reaction at that time (I didn't catch what that was) ...

3. she remembered the breast feeding incident which had struck her as odd though she was quite open to Meenu feeding shiv...

4. she remembers feeling weird not really knowing how meenu lost her child in the delivery...

she always KNEW on some deep level that alok and meenu had done some sort of baby swap.

she always KNEW that all was not well.

she just never connected the dots.

Intuition is always there. gut instinct is always there.

I believe in intuition because i have gone through such incidence where intuition worked for me...many members had made fun of Anandi's intuition about felings something wrong is in BH (during Ratan's drama) but i felt she was not wrong...manyatimes humans can feel some sort of signals which tell them that something is not wrong...now it depends upon every person's state of mind to feel those signals and even act upon them...i feel had humans not disconnected itself from nature becoz of technology even they would have been able to feel things which animals can like coming of earthquake or some weird movement much before it's happening

What Anandi had was premonition rather than intuition. Intuition is based on some observed fact.

Premonition is more like telepathy. What Ira had was based on observation and perception.

Intuitions means sensing something without any rational justification...there was no prewarning involved in what Anandi was sensing...it' wasn't that she knew things are bad in haveli and that something wrong is going to happen or see had seen what wrong was going to happen...she had become restless suddenly...right?
