Haha, what a fun post today! 😃 😆 The episode really seemed like it zoomed by, and I'm glad that we're back into more happy territory, barring the expected zameen problems!
Yep, definitely loved yesterday's episode a lot more than today's...I loved the entire sad/angst-filled phase more than today's episode, LOL. But this episode made me smile, no doubt about that...and for that I am glad! DV is smiling again! And so is Saachi! 😃
Unintentional hilarity has been commented upon already, but I'll mention a few of my favorite bits as I zoom through the episode again. In spite of the rushed nature of the resolution, there were some moments I really liked as far as acting is concerned...
- "Ghar se jaa raha hoon...dil se nahi." Awww, DV! Waise this is true...I guess they wanted to make that more obvious by showing Saachi crying her heart out after overhearing DV. I liked that they showed her standing at the top of the stairs, listening in on the conversation...the editing was quite choppy, though, so the abruptness of those portions was a bit jarring. More tears...In case people doubted Saachi's love for DV, here...have a shot of a devastated Saachi crying because he's leaving Panchgani.
- Naani! 🤗 Her dialogues in that scene with Aaji made me so happy! Yay for taking a stand, reminding Aaji about those heartless "mehmaan" lines, and standing up for herself and Saachi in one go. Aaji seems kind of unsure of herself as she listens to Naani speaking and tries to reply to her...
- "Aur jab aap uski udaasi dekhoge na...tab aapko yaad aayegi uski hansi...jo DV ke iss ghar mein aane ke baad aksar goonjaa karti thi." Love this line, too...Wish the pace had been a bit slower so that the impact could have sank in araam se...But oh well. We're on the fast track because of the MahaMilan deadline, na? Onward, then!
- DV looking up at Saachi's terrace one last time...💔 And she's inside, crying because she'll never see him again, thanks to Ulka's influence in bringing out the most conservative of notions in Aaji's head...*sigh*
- Masala time! 😆 LOLL at those random roadside Romeos showing up and barely spouting two lines of filth about Saachi's charitra before DV loses control and starts throwing punches at them. I'm glad that they put in that tiny bit of Dils yelling for help because at least there was a way for the Prabhus to find out about the fight other than Naani walking out of the house 😆 Good for them! And Dils! Naturally she would be out there in a matter of seconds because DV is out there 👍🏼 Such a supportive, caring friend she is - so supportive that she starts tackling one of those losers on her own 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 Most hilarious moment of the day! Any more surprises besides Archie print dresses and hair-pulling fight moves, Dilshaad? Dude, I want to see BTS coverage of this episode now! 😆
- Saachi hearing DV's name and rushing to the terrace...her reaction upon seeing him get hit with that rod...then the way she tries to run downstairs and out the door, only to have her dupatta get snagged on the stair railing (I think that's what it was) before she frees it and frantically rushes out the door...I have to say here that Sangeeta does the rushed-and-filmi-dramatic rather well. The terrace portions are the ones I liked the most, but the filmi-style running deserves a special mention because it brought to mind, unwittingly, some truly hilarious filmi-style-running-with-billowing-dupatta moments from other shows to mind...Those were not supposed to be hilarious but they were...At least this one didn't have me rolling my eyes and laughing - Sangeeta's expressions salvaged these moments for me, especially the ones where Saachi is painfully, helplessly watching DV get beat up while she's constantly trying to free herself from Aaji's grasp.
- Oh, and the dupatta getting caught made me think of how Saachi's normal routine for years has been to come down those stairs and live for her family obediently without asking for things for herself...She's been tied to her family for so long because of those responsibilities...Now she breaks free because she wants to go to DV, she can't see him in pain...It's always been like this, hasn't it? She tries to distance herself from him but when it comes to him getting hurt or trying to leave her for good, even the threat of such a thing happening is too much for her to bear, and the impulsive side of her takes over...
- "Yeh waali chot toh kuch bhi nahi hai...Yeh waali chot toh theek bhi ho jaayegi..." DV looks at Saachi for a moment...Awww, nooo! 🥺 Okay, sorry, just wanted to be a bit dramatic, in line the masaledaar mood of the episode 😆
- As soon as the JLZ theme music started playing, I felt much better...Until then, all the other background music made me feel like I was watching a StarOne show 😆
- "Mat jaao, please?" Awww, Saachi! "Mere liye..." The look on DV's face...Just as he's leaving, because Saachi pretty much threw him out of her house, she comes and tries to stop him...It's like a cycle now...Who knows if it will be of any use staying back this time if Aaji is so set on getting Saachi married to someone else...But Saachi says, "Mere liye...?" again, her desperation starting to seep through a little, and DV looks at Aaji...He expects refusal but the Aaji we know is back...and so is DV's smile! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ It's lovely how his entire face lights up and looks so much brighter when he's happy! There's this one interesting bit where DV and Saachi look at each other and both of their smiles fade for a few seconds...I wonder if there was a sort of nonverbal back-and-forth of regret-and-forgiveness hidden in that moment because DV looks back at Aaji after that and his smile returns...and everything is fine again.
- The smiles are back! AWWW! Definitely THE highlights of the entire episode for me! And I'm back to saying "They're SO sweet!" 😆 I mean, just look at how incredibly adorable and happy they are! The way DV throws his bag into the air and Saachi flinches a bit...SUPER adorable how he grabs her and pulls her against him, and her arms come up around him as well, spontaneously and naturally. DV's "Oh!" and Saachi's embarrassed, giddy laugh as they pull apart...and the way they just can't look away from each other for more than a few moments...Gaah! I missed those smiles and the softness in their eyes SO much! No limit to the perfection here...I seriously think I could watch an entire episode consisting solely of Ruslaan-Sangeeta/DV-Saachi smiling and laughing and being infinitely adorable. Hopeless me...but I'm happily hopeless! 😆
- LOL, DV says "yaar" and there's no question of a "Main tumhaari YAAR nahi hoon!" from Saachi now! 😆 She just rolls her eyes at him and goes back to being all concerned about his hand. Haha, now that the Prabhu residents know about DV-Saachi and are okay with it, these non-romantic moments of togetherness are going to be family affairs, it seems. Chalo, that's okay. At least everyone is happy.
- Ulka the Inauspicious arrives...I enjoyed watching Saachi and DV react to Ulka's nonsense here, though. "Balaa tal gayi..." and an irritated Saachi makes a move to get up from the table, probably to give Ulka a piece of her mind for once, but DV stops her and she settles again, but not before giving him a look of mild exasperation. All those smiles in response to Ulka's OTT dramatics...Haha, everyone else's taunts in response to Ulka's nonsense - finally her "kuch toh log kahenge" and blame game dialogues aren't having an effect. If anything, everyone just wants her to get out of the house.
- "Chalegi nahi, Ulka Kaaku...Daudegi..." Ah! Love the glint in DV's eyes here! Also love the little glances DV and Saachi exchange after Ulka finally leaves. And...we're back! "Main aapki beti ko aapse bhi zyaada naaz se rakh kar dikhaoonga!" So sweet! And he will, that's for sure!
- Oh, look who wants to rain on the parade...Is he drunk again? "Behen ki pallu se bandha hai...Waheen rehna seekh..." 😳 I will restate what DV said..."Just shut up and get out, Pradeep." Ugh. Loved watching DV and Saachi's expressions in this scene, though! Here's to hoping that the diya flame burns more brightly through all of this, now that the two of them are together.
- Precap: Flirting shuru! 😆 Ahaha, I love how Saachi just starts laughing at DV's date-fixing eagerness. He's back in his element now, and she knows it...I find it so amusing that whenever DV drops a hint of "thoda kuch..." and "thoda yeh...thoda woh..." Saachi's expression changes to that intense one...without fail...Oh, Saachi...
Seems that they cut out quite a bit of stuff, probably due to time constraints. Darn. There is some interesting detailing here as well as dialogues that I wouldn't have minded being included in the episode...the "action/romantic picture" cheap comments by the loser trio...DV's "woh meri girlfriend hai" ❤️ and some more of the stuff he says later on...
