Today someone gave me a different view on this MB. According to them this MB follows logic. This view is of some of the viewers abroad. This sounds good as by now it's clear they are not going to copy the original MB word by word, event by event.
Tonight's epi made one thing clear, one of the most important word in life of characters of this epic is "Apamaan", insult.
This chain started with Amba, Dronacharya, Drupad, Pandavas, Draupadi etc.

Before insult there is a major injustice in many cases. The character undergoing such humiliation, gets determined for revenge.
Drona's Vidya was insulted by Drupad, so he created army of his shishyas, by giving them his Vidya. He prepared them well to fight for their Guru's honour.
Drupad after getting defeated by Drona's shishyas performed a yagya to get a son, who can take his revenge.
Amba gave up her life to take revenge from Bhishma.
Draupadi's insult & injustice done to Pandavas, was the root cause of Mahabharat war.
Dharma & adharma were secondary, but insult & injustice are the key words, in this epic.
Those who took Kaurava & Pandava's side were in some way connected to them either by relation, friendship or were part of this chain of insults in some way.
What is dharma for one may be seen as adharma by others but people who took sides were very clear about their motive. Majority of the births in MB are unusual. All were born for a purpose, staring from Shikhandini, Pandavas, Kauravas, Krishna etc. That Era was very different with so many unusual events happening around. No wonder a war was necessary to end this cycle of injustice & insults.
