Ajji who is making grand utterances now - could she BEAR to see her beloved grand daughter, the pride of her life yoked to a lifetime of misery? No. But fear is making her fall back on old attitudes, the way people behaved when confronted with somehting that threatens the way things have been established.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" color="#003399">The scene between Ajji and Nani was so bittersweet. From being an elder, a treasured member of the family suddenly Nani was made to feel like an interloper, someone who had been a GUEST for 17 years - a guest who didn't know it was time to leave, a guest who didn't know her place. Along with all the other tensions, that insult, that hurt was too much for the old lady to bear. And she broke down. Very understandably. I was very hurt on her behalf.😭</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" color="#003399">And Saachi! What a sweet person she is! She has enough troubles of her own, her heart is breaking - she is smilingly making decisions that immolate her for life, but she still has eyes and heart for an old woman's pain and hurt. She explains to Naani htat Ajji is hurt. And between them, Naani and Saachi discuss in such deceptively simple terms about how people behave when they are upset. Some cry and some make others cry - they lash out at whoever is nearest.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" color="#003399">Naani makes it plain that Saachi does NOT need to marry anyone just to make someone else happy. But Saachi is even more upset at this turn of events - that the household is unhappy enough to fight and snipe at each other is AGAIN, in her eyes, HER fault.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" color="#003399">Let's admit it: Reason is NOT Saachi's forte.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" color="#003399">Everything is her fault and SOMEHOW, quickly! by doing whatever is asked for, she will set it right.</font>
