TV actor weds childhood sweetheart in Lucknow
Akash Wadhwa,TNN | Dec 1, 2013, 12.00 AM ISTNidhi Uttam, who plays Naitik's (Karan Mehra) sister in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai tied the knot with her childhood sweetheart in Lucknow on Friday.
The groom, Mohit Pathak, is a music composer and given music for several TV tracks. Some members of the TV fraternity attended the shaadi celebrations in Kanpur and Lucknow, including Karan Mehra and his wife Nisha Rawal Mehra, Medha Jambotkar, Sonali Verma and Neha Saroopa.
"Nidhi is from Kanpur while her husband is from Lucknow," informs Karan, who's now back in Mumbai. Nidhi went for the Pag Phera ceremony to Kanpur with her hubby on Saturday. She will be returning to Lucknow today. The actress has a couple of family dinners lined up before she leaves for Mumbai to resume work. "There's no time to go on a honeymoon yet, since I am busy shooting for Ek Boond Ishq. The honeymood will happen in January end now."
