Talash was her last chance, even though she was critically appreciated, the movie did well and the audience liked her ..it still did nothing.The point is that she has NO star power, she is not a star. She was the flavor of the season back in 2004-2005, but the moment has passed.

The problem is that she doesn't do enough movies and she doesn't have an excuse like marriage or a kid either.

Are middle aged male actors' movies all hits? No but they're disciplined, hard working and persistent, which manages to keep them in the race. The key is to keep working and select the best projects of the ones offered to you. When you take a break, the industry moves on, they don't stop and wait for you to jump back in. Spots get filled fast. You have to make do with what you've got if you want to keep working.

Yesteryear's heroines have a problem with playing second lead.
