Ya distortions are part of every mythological or historical serials these days.Its just that distortions in Mahabharat are difficult so accept becuase its our religious epic

Ya i have enjoyed CV's interpretation of the events in the book till now.I dont mind them showing actual events in a different way.But showing evets that didnt happen at all for 3 continuous episodes is a bit too much.So i am happy that with this Drupad war this unnecesary Arjun/Pandav vs Karan taunts will come to an end.For 3 continuous episodes its too much

Arjun-Karna's grudges seemed too fast and unreasonable taking into account the sequence the events are being shown.

It clearly looks like Karna is venting out his frustration of caste discrimination on Arjun, suddenly terming him as his arch rival and greatest enemy, whereas the real enmity began after the lac-palace fiasco and Draupadi's swayamvar.

It looks like CVs r trying to show that they were already computed to be rivals since birth, somewhat like Abhimanyu was born with the Chakravyuh knowledge.

They suddenly spill out some random words against each other and I get the feel like "What?" 'Why?" "How come??"

Either they should stick to the original version or just simply change the title of the show...

There was another Mahabharata serial called 'Kahani hamare Mahabharat ki' a few years ago, which was short lived. There too, they took unbelievable liberties, but at least they gave it a truthful name. This serial is just called the Mahabharata - they need to change it to something like the above.

Yeah, in the original story, the Pandavas were full of unprovoked insults @ Karna, and that's how his hatred of Arjun slowly built up. But here, it looks like Karna is born w/ that hatred. Otherwise, why would a guy who risks his life to save a kid from a fall, or who showers Pandu & Kunti w/ flowers scattered by his arrow (as per this serial) be full of hatred towards their son, who was simply minding his own business b4 Karna came in?

Karna's hatred for Arjun probably started @ Draupadi's swayamvara, where his son was killed by Arjun
