IM HAPPY FOR ARMAAN AND TANISHAA: TANYA (Armaan's girlfriend)

fter reports of a certain Tanya Singh being miffed with her beau, Bigg Boss contestant Armaan Kohli, for being over-friendly with co-contestant Tanishaa Mukerji surfaced last month, the real Tanya is quite upset. "Firtsly, I am Tanya Kapoor and I don't have a son as reported," says Tanya, who was recently approached by the makers of the reality TV show to enter the house as a guest, supposedly to vent her anger at Tanishaa. "I have nothing against Tanishaa... so I'd never do something like that. I'll be happy if something works out between Armaan and Tanishaa. Yes, Armaan and I were more than friends... we had met just a couple of months back and our relationship was developing, but it's fine, people do move on in life," says Tanya, who's now rejected the offer to enter the show.

A divorcee and a mom to a 10-year-old daughter, Tanya says that she's close to Armaan's family too. Is she disappointed with Armaan's mom giving a go-ahead to Armaan-Tanishaa's relationship? "Not at all. I am still like a daughter to them. But it's Armaan's life, and it's fine if she's honouring her son's choice," she says.

Talking about Armaan's much-talked about short temper, Tanya says, "I think this house just brings out the worst in you... people provoke you till you react." So, did she ever have to bear the brunt of his abusive tongue? "Never. He's never misbehaved with me," she maintains. While on the one hand, Tanya Kapoor says that she's happy for Armaan and Tanishaa, her close pals reveal that she's terribly hurt. "Of course she will be. They were in a live-in relationship after all," says a close friend of Tanya, adding, "In fact, Armaan pampered her a lot, took her to Dubai to shop, but when he'd be angry, he'd yell at her...break her phone, and then the next day buy her a new one. It's Tanya's goodness that she is not bad-mouthing him." Agrees evicted contestant Vivek Mishra. "I got to know Armaan through Tanya. I had even asked Armaan what he was up to as Tanya is waiting for him outside. She had even cried before me. But Armaan told me that he and Tanishaa are just friends, and Tanya need not worry. Then again, he started shouting saying, What's your problem if I have one girlfriend or 500 girlfriends!'," says Mishra. Amid speculations of the ArmaanTanishaa affair, a source from the sets reveals a shocking secret. On Wednesday (November 27) night, Tanishaa asked Armaan in a whisper if their relationship was for real or for reel. To this Armaan replied that it's just for the reel. "Yeh sab uthna baithna sab sirf dosti hai aur kuch nahin (This is all just friendship, nothing else)," said Armaan. This bit will not be telecast, adds the source.
