I might be able to get one last update up on Dec. 16th before my surgery! I managed to get this one up before my finals luckily. I didn't edit it yet...so if there are any mistakes, I apologize. Not sending out PMs yet either unless I get the chance later. Anyways, enjoy!

Chapter Eighteen - The New Plan

He told me what he had planned. It wasn't a bad idea at all. In fact, I couldn't wait to get started with the payback.

It started with tracking down the three men involved in the crime, Aakash, Raj, and Harry, all of whom had fled. It certainly was no easy task to find them. In fact, I had no idea how RK planned to find them.

It had become easier for me to question RK considering the fact that him and I shared some sort of relationship. I had moved into his room even though something about his behaviour still seemed amiss. I kept telling myself that RK's different, it's RK's way of showing me he loves me. I managed to convince myself enough.

He paced back and forth in his room when I walked in on him. He glanced in my direction but his pacing didn't come to a stop.

"RK?"

"Shh."

His steps stopped. He closed his eyes. He put one hand out to stop me from talking and his other hand on his head as he got stuck deep in thought. It was a minute of awkward silence later that I decided to speak up again.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm trying to figure out how to find them."

"Bittuji still hasn't?"

"Bittuji is useless at the moment. He claims the trio are no longer on the map."

"Well they haven't left Earth, that's for sure."

He turned to glare at me.

"You're not being helpful. Unless you plan to help, get lost."

His tone of voice angered me, so I shot a glare back in his direction.

"Shut up RK. You know very well that I want them caught just as bad as you do, if not more."

He let out a deep sigh and looked away by turning his back towards me.

"It's just frustrating. I was so close. I had them in the palms of my hands until they misbehaved with you at the party. I exploded. I shouldn't have."

He ran his hands through his hair in a frustrated motion. I walked up behind him and wrapped my arms around him from behind. I rested my hands on his chest and rose onto my tiptoes to rest my head on his shoulder.

"We'll get them RK. They'll pay for wh..."

The ringing of his phone interrupted whatever I was attempting to say. He instantly grabbed his phone and placed it next to his ear as I continued to hold onto him and lean my head against his.

"Bittuji, any news?"

There was silence from RK's end and then he hung up the phone.

"What happened RK?"

He slowly turned around to face me and took a hold of my face in his hands.

"We found them."

I felt my eyes brighten with excitement as I heard the news.

"REALLY? Where?!"

"Calm down. I meant to say we found a way to find them."

"Oh..."

"Hey don't be so disappointed."

He wrapped his arms around me as I rested my face against his chest.

"All we need to do is lure them in with a million dollar film offer."

"Million dollar?"

"It's just a phrase. Bittuji's already on it."

"What's Bittuji doing?"

"Currently hiring a man to hire the three to work in another film together. It'll be their first time they're working together since the film our fathers worked in together."

I pulled away a bit and glanced up at RK as he kept his arms around me.

"What are we going to do next?"

"Madhu...I think our plan just changed...and got a whole bunch better."

"Better? How?"

"You ready to replay the past in these bas***d's minds?"

As confused as I was, it sounded like a fantastic idea.

"Hell yeah!"

He let out a chuckle and embraced me tight. I took in the hug, smiling.

"You know, it's been a long, stressful day Madhu..."

I instantly pulled away and smiled.

"I'll go make some hot milk for you and you can get a good night's sleep!"

He smirked, looking my face up and down.

"You're so innocent, it's adorable."

I couldn't help but let a puzzled expression cross my face as I stared in his direction.

"I don't need a good night's sleep. Just a good night."

He grabbed my waist and pulled me close again.

"You're all I need to make the stress go away."

I felt my cheeks go on fire as I blushed and lowered my eyelids. I could feel his eyes on me and then suddenly my feet no longer touched the ground. He held me in his arms and turned to face his bed. He began walking towards his bed with me. He laid me down gently and climbed onto the bed on top of me. I smiled up at him as he smiled a dangerous yet passionate sort of smile down at me. I felt his body weight on top of me, but he held himself up just enough to not make me uncomfortable. I watched as he began closing in on me and I slowly closed my eyes. As my eyes closed, I remembered back to his explanation to falling in love with me so quickly. My eyes shot open just as his lips brushed against mine.

"Stop!"

I spoke into his lips. He opened his eyes and pulled away.

"What happened to you?"

"I...I'm not...I'm not ready."

I spit it out. I wasn't sure if that was the reason or if the reason was something else entirely. His eyes landed on my lips and stayed there as he spoke to me.

"Why not Madhu..."

His voice...so passionate...he was making it hard to resist. But I needed to.

"RK, I can't."

"You sure?"

He brushed his lips against mine again, teasing me, making me want more as I closed my eyes. Then my eyes shot open again.

"RK NO!"

He let out a sigh and rolled over onto his side beside me, no longer on top of me.

"Suit yourself."

He turned out the lights, ignoring the fact that the dark scared me. I held in my shriek and closed my eyes, fighting my fear of the darkness as I fell into a deep sleep while staring at his back towards me in bed.

is rk really telling truths to madhu regarding his feelings?his behaviors is highly suspicious.
