The courtyard of the house was bustling with the laughters of the girls.The sound of the dholak and the conch shell was echoing in the whole area.Some girls were applying ''Shagun ki Haldi'' to a girl,who was sitting in the middle,wearing a yellow saree.
A girl came upto her,her hands smeared with haldi.She came towards her and applied the 6aldi on her face,hand and legs. She smiled at the bride and gave her a side hug.
''Aye haaye,meri pyaari Zoobi Doobi...bohut pyaari lag rahi ho... Mere jijaji toh tujhe dekhenge toh fultoo lattoo...''
She blushed and said, ''Dhhatt''...
Naaz nudged her and said, ''Oye hoye,someone is blushing,huh? Sacchi mein... Tu aaj bohut sundar dikhrahi hai,ekdum pyaari... May God always bless you and Vidyut jijaji... Ekdum Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi hai tumdono ki... Accha chal... Main andar jaati hu... Suna hai,Shanu aayi hui hai uske uss nakchare aur attitude se bhara hua pati,Shlok ke saath?''
''Noozie Poozie,chup kar... Aise bhi mat bol... Shlok ji aise bhi nahi hai...Haan,woh,unke yahaan pe halat aur paristithiya aise thhe ke unhe uss mutabik chalna para...Par,ab woh badal chuke hai,Shanu se bohut pyaar karte hai... Tum bhi unhe maaf kardo,Noozie Poozie...''
''Koshish karungi,Zoobi Doobi... Itna aasan nahi hoga mere taraf se... Accha,main andar jaake aunty ko help karti hu,warna tere mooh bole bhai,Behzi bhaiya,mujhe DamnIt ke sessions dene lagenge... Chal,bye...''
As Anika's haldi is dine,she was taken for a bath and after that,she was brought in for her mehndi.She was waiting for Vidyut,because,a dollop of mehndi was going to be applied on his hands as well,by Shlok and Shanaya.
Shanaya came with Anika,along with Naaz,as well.They made Anika sit in the middle and Shlok made Vidyut sit beside Anika.Vidyut looked at Anika and winked at her.Anika blushed and lowered her gaze.Vidyut's mother came and started the Mehndi Rasam.She took the Shagun Ki Mehndi and applied a dot and asked the mehndi artists to take over.Similarly,Shlok and Shanaya took another mehndi cone and applied a dot and drew a heart on his palm and wrote Anika's name.
''Vidyut,Anika meri biwi ki best friend zarur hai,par,meri saali sahiba bhi hai...Usse duniya ki saari khushiyaan aur pyaar dena...'' Shlok said...
''Haan,Vidyut ji... Please,meri Annie doll ka bohut khayal rakhna...Give all the love to her.She is emotional,par,aap usse sambhal lena..'' Shanaya said.
''Shlok aur Shanaya,tum dono bilkul bhi chinta mat karna... Anika meri zindagi hai... Main uski bohut hi zyada khayal rakhunga... Usse saari khushiyaan dunga...'' Vidyut promised both Shlok and Shanaya.
''Jijaji,meri Zoobi Doobi ka accha khayal rakhna,warna,main bhi aapki tarha black belt hu..Mujhe bhi torh phor karna aata hai...'' Naaz said in a chuckling tone.
''Jo aap bole,meri majhli saali sahiba...'' Vidyut said,smiling.
