I Have never heard a movie gaining success without any promotion. Even big superstars spend 15 to 20 crores for promotion to ensure success. Even a pathetic movie gains attention and success if r highly promoted. But here in mb land they know that the pregnancy is a taboo in glamour industry but don't know that even a superstar is needed to sell his movie through promotion in lack of which the movie fails to give desired profit. Madhu and the movie being praised and appreciated for her acting is understood but films huge success without even minimal promotion and all credit to Madhubala and MC is pure irritating and illogical. Cvs show that the movie should only be able to recover the money invested and few crores of profit (due to RKs name associated with it), but get acclodes by the critics (although it is pathetic) and the industry and could have been a blockbuster had it being promoted.
