Yes, he saying Nikhat is a pawn in his game is not fitting his story and makes me think that there is more to what he actually told to Nikhat. He said his wife went missing 2 years back, may be at that time he was in Dubai but when and why he went to US and how he investigated about his missing wife while in US is left to our imagination. Based on today's episode, he decided to stay back in India and search for his missing wife by befriending prostitutes as their client.
