I don't think, Salman and Aarman be any close dosts or party go=to=gether kindaa guys,... But I guess,... Somewhere Salim Uncle and Raj kumaar kohli being of the same age,... in the same field,...must have been knowing each other on and off via many films, parties, script writing/direction,... and hence Salman must be having good respect with Rajkumar kohli as well as Armaan's mom,
as she was also kinda famous actress of that time,... so as an elderly respect of being in the same film-line as his father,..
Salman might be on and off party seeing touch with Armaan's parents that way,... But I doubt that Salman and Armaan go together to any party/picnic or any such,... He must be simply knowing him as Raj Kumar kohli's son, and may have meyt lightly here and there 5-7 times.
Rajkumar Kohli (born 14 September 1930 in Lahore, British India) is an Indian film director. He was famous for directing several popular Bollywood films in the 1970s and 1980s with ensemble casts such as Nagin (1976), Jaani Dushman (1979), Naukar Biwi Ka and Raaj Tilak (1984). His films frequently featured actors including Sunil Dutt, Dharmendra, Jeetendra, Shatrughan Sinha and actresses such as Reena Roy and Rekha.
In the early 1990s he introduced his son Armaan Kohli in the multi-starrer action film Virodhi (1992) which was a flop. He directed his son again in Aulad Ke Dushman (1993) and Qahar (1997) which also failed to launch his son's career. After a hiatus he returned in 2002 and relaunched his son in another multi-starrer film in the style of his classic 1970s films Nagin and Jaani Dushman titled Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani. However when released it was a box office disaster and was heavily criticised. As well as copying his own 1970s films, the film copied scenes from The Matrix, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Mission: Impossible II and The Mummy. He has not directed any film since 2002.
Kohli is married to Nishi, a Punjabi actress of yesteryears and lives in Union Park, Chembur. Bombay. He has two children Gogi and Munish (screen name Armaan Kohli).
