he didnt pull the real mangalsutra...as if he pulls it...his family will ask them wht happened to mangalsutra...and shlok and astha r going to pretend happy married couple infront of their famly...so she has to wear that mangalsutra infront of all...

so he dint pull the real mangalsutra...but the temple thread ...which astha considered sacred...

yes...you are right

every television couple has some object which has very imp role in their story...in Aashlok story this locket wala mangalsutra will have that value

now Shlok is taking it... a day will come where he will put it back in her neck
