This fact seems to be disturbing that Vithal had remained all these years without working. The least they could do is to at least show him having a small time business even if he is getting low income rather than showing Kamla going to work while Vithal remains at home. Even the kids are now grown up where Pakya is already looking for job while Vithal being jobless all these years didn't made sense to me 😕

Yes I also found it odd that Vithal has not been doing any sort of work. He could have been shown to do odd jobs like selling snacks at railway station or driving an auto rickshaw.
Another very unrealistic thing that irks me is Kalpi going to Panchganni borading school. The annual fees are 2.5 lakhs rupees. Even for middle class families this fee is not afforadable so why show a kamwali bai and her jobless husband being able to afford boarding school fees? Where can Kamla get 2.5 lakhs every year to pay the fees?

Yes, these is what made me also wondering how are they able to cope with all this with only Kamla's salary. Vithal don't need to be earning big but he could at least do some small time job's even if he don't earn much instead of sitting at home.

How fake! Unemployed all these years, no skills or experience in construction business and Vitthal gets a decent job? What a joke! This show is starting to get on my nerves for various reasons mainly due to illogic and inconsistencies.

If women stay at home and look after the home & kids while the husband works, people are fine with it. However, a man homemaking while the wife works seems to irk everyone. If it had been Vitthal who was a servant and Kamla a homemaker, people wouldn't complain about Kamla getting a job. Think about it. It is gender discrimination of sorts.

The show had taken two leaps and Vithal have been jobless since then though he has been wanting to work or start a business. We had not complained then. But it makes no sense that Vithal have remained jobless this long and not able to get any job. As in homemaking, still Kamla does almost everything at home and goes to work. These days, both husband and wife shares the responsibilities. So it isn't wrong if we want to see Vithal sharing responsibilities with Kamla IMO.

I understand it may see like gender discrimination.
However, our complaint is that Vitthal is not doing the typical "stay at home Dad," work. He is seen mostly praying. Kamla has to cook breakfast in the morning, go to work and come home to cook again. Plus do housework. Occasionally he cooks.
Even Kalpi used to go to work with Kamla. He should be the one to pick her up from school and let her stay with him.

I really don't think he has been carrying his weight all these years.

Now when he is given a job in his lap, he was hesitating. Like he has work Phobia,"ergophobia," The kids are old enough to do things around the house and don't need babysitting.
