After watching today's episode and pre-cap, all I could think was that I am watching Father-daughter-daughter's boyfriend scene more then Father-Mother and Son...
It may sound funny, but Rashid and Dilshaad are acting like teenagers at this age...When ever I think of today's Asad-Dil-Rashid scene, it makes me laugh and cry at the same time...

I felt like I was watching:- A teenage boy has came to ask her hand, and when he was denied, he like a teenage boy, challenged her father that "Shaadi toh woh uski hi beti se kare ga, uske ke marzi ke saath or begheer..."

When the father has asked his daughter if she is out of her mind, that bloddy kid doesn't deserve her...She acted like a teen she is, and told her father ke "Papa, main usse ke saath hi rehna chati hoon"

The Father may have said her "No", make her see that he is her father, how can she choose that bloody kid over him...She made him know that she isn't going to back down...

So, I won't be surprised if in next episodes, I see the daughter cry a river, and those tears of his princess will make the father think of his decisions, and his wife will also be at his daughter's side and So, he, following Amrish Puri's footprints, say her "Jaa beti, jee le aapna zindagi..."

On the serious note, Asad HAS no other option but to to acted like a teenage daughter's father...He has been a father for his every sibling of his...For Ayaan and Najma...Now he has to act like a Father for his parents too...

Wese bhi, when has they let him act like a like their son...?? When have they stood by him, let him walk and be there when he fell...?? When he had the security and protection that only a father is able to give...?? When has he had guide of his father...?? When he has come to his mother with his problems without any care...?? He has always hold back and tried to not burden his mother...He has tried to provide her, has not let her cry, he has protected her like no one, neither that spineless husband of hers has...

Somehow, I have always felt Asad has played the role of a father not only for Najma and Ayaan, but also for Dilshaad...He has always tried to protect her...we have seen that in the beginning of QH...He has protected her from Rashid and even lied to her about the phone call...

So even now, he will paly the role of a father for her, warn her but won't able to stop her for her own happiness, He may have many scars, be won't want Dilshaad to lose the only chance she has got...But will be there to hold her and not let her fall...simple as that...

So, he is the FATHER...And my heart goes out of that young strong wonderful man, who has has lost "Saayaa" of his father 17 years before, has became a man at the tender age of 10, has done everything to make sure that women of his home won't suffer, ever, because of anyone and anything...

And the moment he started to feel that everything is alright, has just started to feel that he has passed very exams and now he can live his life in peace...Has just thought that the deep wounds on his soul can be heal...Only to That spinless, selfish man come and ruin his peace, make him suffer everything all over again...and make him feel that he has done nothing...That all his all affords to provide and protect his mother has been in vain...Make him see that it doesn't matter how much he has done from past 17 years, she will choose her husband over him...

So, he is a father of teenage daughter, for whom he has done everything, to make her happy since past 17 years, a boy, a bloody kid is worth enough to for her to forget everything her father has done, and how much he loves her...She is going to choose that so-called lover of hers over her father...

Rashid and Dilshaad, they are acting like teenage kids, and teenage kids tend to make mistakes in this phase of their life...

So, lets her do what she wants...because she will come back, to the same father of hers and cry on his shoulder, while he will be thinking of ways to make that damn bloody kid regret making his princess cry...

I have started to feel like Asad will have to play a father for every damn person who could have possibly any blood ties with him...

P.s...I know I am making way too much topics these days, but this subject and Asad is very close to my heart...I have always hated irresponsible parents whom somehow have left nothing more than deep wounds on their children, whom has ruined the childhood of thier child...so much that decades could pass and the kid could be grow up, become a strong man/woman but still suffers because of the wounds that he/she bears on their souls because of their damn parents mistakes...

P.s.s...Links:- (Because I feel lazy and can't write my views on this track again and again...😆)

Rashid is NOT Asad Ahmed Khan, Dilshaad is NOT Zoya Farooqui

My view/Prediction on D-R-S and SM-or-No SM track

Thanks...😳

That's our wishful thinking, I don't think that is going to happen...Zoya will, as always, think from her heart...And as always will be convinced that whatever she thinks is right and will try Asad to change his views...

But at least, at this matter She should know that Asad doesn't need her to give him her 2 cents, so she sould just stand by her and prove her loyalty towards him and not others...Because God knows that he is going to need her, now more than ever...

Great post. You are so right. Nothing more to add.
Dilshad's stint in SM should be shorter than Zoya's. 😉

Love your posts. Keep making them. 😊

Well done analysis. It actually seriously seems like Asad is the only mature one among all of them. Yeah he has made his mistakes too like Tanveer and trading of Zoya but than don't mature adults make mistakes too. I won't forgive him for the trading but he still somehow redeemed himself by having the guts to right the wrong he did by bringing Zoya back.
Asad is the father to all these immature brats of SM and KV. He is a damn good father too but maybe he needs to listen sometimes to the kids and speak to them in a calm tone . Maybe just maybe they may understand him better. He is too much of an introvert and thats why nobody listens to him. They do not understand his POV.

My dear Papa Asad at the end of the day all your children will be singing to your tune as they will realise you were right and meant well for them.

I just wana tell u That i m with u with everything and everytime i read ur post
I Like this girl is reading my mind or what???
The last post u did about asad is not rashid ,i was talking to my friend and i said the same thing
And even in another post and the topic was not about asad and Rachid and my comment was exactly Like urs
I did the same reaction when dilshad Said she learnt all this from asya
I was Like what the??? How u CAN compare 2things That cant be compared
Asad is not rashid
Asad did the impossible for his love so he truely deserve the love and he should get happiness
But what rashid did in his whole Life so That he CAN get his love????
One is hero
And other is zero 😆
And today it was exactly my feeling Like asad is the father
And to be honest he wasall the Time a father even in his childhood

Thank you...🤗

Haha, Its should, but I personally feel that this track will finish near March of next year...they wanted to finish Not-so-zoyaan track at the end of Jan of next year, and then show Zoya's birthday track in Feb...but since Trp and we have given them hell, they had cut it short and showed Zoya's birthday track in Nov instead of Feb...

So at least this track will last long...We may get a lot of drama and have fun IF they will be able to give us a good well written track...This track has the potential, they just have to use it in the right way, on the right time...😊

Brilliant post.

I agree with you whole heartedly.

Asad is always the father figure for all his siblings, and yes even Dilshad. Even when Dilshad had to work, he helped her out has best he could. He became so successful that she would never have to work or slave for anything ever again. Unless she wanted to. He worked hard to give her a choice.

But sadly, she chose wrong. And I'm sorry but Dilshad really disappointed me here. Instead of thinking, will my son forgive me, she's thinking how will I convince him.

REALLY? You're abandoning him for the VERY MAN who made all your lives hell. And you're worried about CONVINCING HIM!?

Haha, but which kid of his has ever come up with something good...??

Najma wanted to marry his other daughter's Ex...
Ayaan wanted his bride...
Dilshaad wants to act like of her age and go live with her teen boy-cam-part time husband...
Nikhaat wanted to die because she wasn't getting married...
Nuzaat is the only one who hasn't troubled him, YET...

And then not to forget that he has fallen for a childish-Woman too...Who sometime just can't understand him...

His every child has given him pain and many white hair...Perks of being a father to everyone, till and WHEN he will have children, he would have already learnt EVERYTHING...😆

@Bold :- Much needed advice...😆
