Hmm so I read the thread by Vampire-Queen on Behzaad Khan and Siddharth Sen leaving Arjun. And so I obviously also read the reaction of members of AF. And when I posted an article of Ketan Karande getting the MAIN VILLAIN role people didn't like that either.
We love the artists in Arjun, but we also don't really care about them as human beings. I mean if we hear a nice song we demand that the person behind it does it forever and always. We don't care if he or she has any personal problem, after all why should we? (Sarcasm, in case you didn;t get it)
It's not as if I didn't do this, I've e-mailed 4lions and SP just because I was so angry on my favourite actor leaving the show. I've also blamed Gorky, BK, SS and everyone involved for ruining my favourite show, I'm sure they all regret their decision now, after all they were born to please me na... (Sarcasm again)
The best thing about my stupidness? It doesn't make sense, change is inevitable, it's bound to happen. I wanted the same thing again, again and again. They'd given me something I had wanted, and when they failed to give it to me forever and always I got mad. After all they owe me this, don't they?
But more seriously, who am I to get mad? This show is for them like my job is for me, if I can get something better, I will. So what is wrong if KK is doing the MAIN VILLAIN role in a Prabhu Deva movie? Why can't everyone for once be happy? In Arjun he didn't have much to do, and here he as an artist is getting the chance to improve, prove himself and I'm sure also a much larger paycheck.
My colleague left work a few months ago, because she found a better, more paying job. Does this mean I shouldn't be happy for her? After all she ditched me na? No, if I get the opportunity I'd do the same thing. We forget that for them this is their job! They're not obliged to forever entertain us through Arjun.
Anyway, I have to go to work, so I'm off.
I won't say that I'm not saddened, I am. But it is their life, their decision, please let us respect it.
Also please keep in mind that people who leave the show can;t do it in a sec, they have got to serve notice period. Which means that both PH and the actor know of it in advance. Where I live the notice period is 4 weeks, ample time to give everyone a worthy exit. I don't know what it is in India. Nor do I know why they didn't do that. I am no one to judge. That is between the PH and the actor.
