A more grounded episode today after the one yesterday which had us all floating along with Saachi...lol...the attempts to talk to Aaji-Naani continue to be the focus.
1) The beginning scene with DV trying to reason with Aaji-Naani in the mandir as Ulka blabs about some example in the colony about an older girl marrying a younger guy and that not lasting more than two years...LOL DV bechara was trying to give all sorts of logic to counter this...one example can't be considered the norm, U.S. mein toh yeh baat common hai😆😆...Ulka's logic in response..."Log toh aaj kal shaadi hi nahin karna chaahte...shaadi karni hai toh THEEK se karo"😆...
Naani did make a valid point though...such relationships are invariably under much more pressure from society and society goes out of its way to break these relationships too since they don't fit into the "norm".
Based on this scene toh both Aaji-Naani don't seem very receptive to the idea at this point...bechara DV...lol
2) Saachi-DV's little pinky promise to each other that they will talk to Aaji-Naani within 24 hours😆
3) The towel scene...lol...itne spoilers ke baad toh anyways it feels like the scene has been watched so many times...but actually the bits before this were hilarious as Saachi's asking DV why he's taking so much time to get ready and he's like I'm all confused...lol...a brief interesting bit here as Saachi's vulnerability shows again cuz she asks DV if he's unsure about THEM...somewhere Saachi will never fully be able to trust in anything lasting in her life...you can't blame her either...doubts are bound to creep up...but DV as always reassures her that he could never be in doubt about THEM😆
LOL@ Saachi's reaction to seeing the clothes thrown around the room and her looking at the cream kurta and thinking "Shaadi ki baat karne jaa raha hai ya shaadi KARNE?"😆
And the towel bit...lol Saachi was sooo embarassed...and DV was having fun with it...lol@ the aapko towel pasand nahin toh main utaar deta hoon line...haha...and further teasing her by saying I'll close the door if ppl are watching...and then saying he won't let her go without a hug😆...Saachi kya se KYA tak soch leti hai...as usual...ullu banaya😆...Liked the bit afterwards when DV's put on the white shirt and Saachi is telling him he scared her so much and he goes ise darr nahin kehte😆...teasing her about her heightened heartbeat...agar mission Aaji-Naani impending nahin hota, he wouldn't have let her go😆
4) The DV-Dils scene...awww such a cute scene of theirs after so many days...btw DV in that white shirt-black pants combo again looks like he's in lawyer mode only😆...deffo more business-like and professional than those khuli shirts they show him wearing these days...anyways scene was so sweet the way Dils was giving him meetha dahi to eat wishing him good luck and encouraging him by telling him he's won over Saachi which was the more difficult task...LOL@ the banter b/w them ki Aaji-Naani consider DV like a son toh kahin use Saachi ka bhai na banaa dein😆...Awww@ the bit where DV hugs her and gives her a kiss on the head and tells her she's awesome...such fondness b/w them...best friendship in the show without a doubt.
5) The ishaare-baazi scene when Saachi throws a flower at DV to get his attention...lol reminded me a bit of that terrace wala silent communication scene I love...the way they mime to each other that their hearts are nervous...lol
6) DV being SO nervous that he's drinking a gazillion glasses of water...and in the background Saachi is ALSO drinking glasses of water nervously🤣...so CUTELY shot...and DV working his way up to telling Aaji-Naani...such a realistically done nervous speech...lol...the way DV talks about how some experiences in life force us to expand our thinking...for example on the topic of AGE...lol but Naani once again presumes DV is saying that he's got some beemari😆😆
And finally they are interrupted again by the call regarding Aadu.
Precap was quite interesting I thought...Saachi asking DV if all of these interruptions/tragedies are a sign that this is not in their destiny...aww poor Saachi...you can't blame her for the way her confidence falters...but DV once again talks sense and reason and calmly tells her that she is thinking like this cuz she's stressed.
I think overall what I liked about the epi today was how naturally the roadblocks were tackled...this is the basic story ofcourse at the end of the day...this challenge regarding their relationship...the age issue...how they themselves deal with it and with the way they navigate through society regarding it...well written epi.
