Exactly...this is a VERY sensitive issue that needs to be dealt with sensitivity and dignity...the writers are walking a fine line here and I hope they can manage to show it properly...if they descend into typical saas-bahu drama over this it would be quite a waste...they have something of potential in their hands right now.

And yes DV most definitely needs to stand up for Saachi if her character is being questioned like this...he NEEDS to be her STRENGTH in this time cuz these reactions are all her worst fears coming true.

I completely loved the episode today. It was grounded like you said. Had all elements of this love story. The trouble that is waiting to surface, the anxiety that these two have, the social pressures that are going to be very difficult to deal with...and one definite fact- they are one! There are one team. It is going to be their problem, not her's or his.

Ulka kaki represents the so called culture and traditions by which our society runs! Not going into very serious discussion on her points, I would just say DV did not stand a chance to make his point. His take was feeble and did not stand a chance in front of Ulka kaku's dogmatic comments. I look forward to some more solid points and facts by both of them in the upcoming episodes. They are but walking a thin line where a lot will be at stake. I loved that DV atleast got the insight in the form of Ulka-path...his expressions said it all. Even brave men falter..!

I am not too sure of the towel + beefed up body scene! But the white shirt DV was totally worth it *fanning myself*
The charades scene was my favorite today! How quickly he changed his sentence to I will keep her happy always. Both admitting they are nervous and both wishing each other luck. Yes they looked very much a team!

One thing that stood dominant today was the precap and that is where a thought came to my mind. Saachi has see a lot of agony in life. What kind of life has DV led? She is aware that things have never been smooth for her and hence her disposition majorly contradictory. Has DV always led a life where things came easy to him. Yes Maybe and that is why he exudes so much positivity. Point is, I want to see DV's life now.

@bold: Exactly...this is why I find these moments of vulnerability from Saachi so touching...and that is why her moments of doubt make sense too...and ofcourse the question arises about what kind of life has DV led...we are all MOST curious...but these ppl are biding their time...I don't think they can put off for too long though now...once Aaji-Naani know, DV's family has to be brought into the story as well...hopefully we'll be given more perspective regarding what makes DV so DV😆...yes he is essentially a positive person...but the wisdom to approach some things in life has to come from some sort of experience for sure.

It has always bothered my why DV skirts any issue related to his familly. We all know he is attached to his mom and basically his only contact with his family. So, really has he had a smooth life ? Like you said he has handled so many issues with the utmost maturity. I am now more than ever curious to meet DV's family.

@Vinee: Err that disclaimer runs at the bottom of EVERY show on TV...it's not something new for JLZ...they've run it before also.

DV's family and the related story will open a new chapter in the show's storyline...maybe that's why they are biding their time with it...all we can do is wait and watch😆
