Very touching and very well executed episode - all angles covered and justified!š
The confrontation scene HAD to be the best directed scene in a long time!š
1)RUQAIYYA - What an enigma this lady is - at least, she's realistic! I loved how she expressed that on one hand while she wasn't happy it WASN'T HER sitting beside Shehenshah that day, at least Jalal had the good fortune of becoming a father!
2) Some strange lady came and blessed the pair - She thought the couple were never going to patch up but their 'Chupi hui Mohabbat'had to come out! Wow so Jodha and Jalal's Tom and Jerry act is pretty public then!š
3) This serial definitely spends half its screen time on Sherbats, Garam doodhs, Kesar doodhs and all sorts of concoctions!š
4) JODHA-RUQ I loved how Jodha stopped Ruqaiyya when Ruq was about to pre-taste the Kesar waalaa doodh. At least for some instance today, I felt like we might see a Jodha and Ruqaiyya friendship coming up in the serial. Even if temporary (as is the nature of relationships in all serials) it'd be a welcome change from the ongoing tracks!
5) The religious festivities for the dad/mom-to-be with a Non-pregnant Jodha seemed a bit odd.
6) JA-RUQ - I loved how Jalal excused himself from the Jashan to comfort a sobbing Ruqaiyya. He'd understood she was troubled - a very touching scene indeed!
'I'll be the first one to pray for your first child...but, you need to be in the Jashan now' she shooes him off amicably
7) SALIMA I loved how Salima had a silent word of praise for her Shehenshah - about how he overcame his grief to put on a brave face for the moment!
8) Jalal had the same 'I can't believe it' expression on his face when he heard of BB's name being taken by the bandhi - just like when he'd heard of Jodha's supposed pregnancy!
9)THE BEST SCENE IN A VERY VERY LONG TIME THIS - The BB-Jalal confrontation!
Firstly, gotta love this serial for one thing- they don't drag any track beyond a week!
I loved how the brother 'blessed' his sister with 'agonized affection' before proceeding to interrogate her! His words and his expressions were simply outstanding here. What a scene the entire confrontation was! Thankfully, even if the investigation was conducted steadily so long- this scene wasn't rushed!
'I'm aggrieved that the culprit turned out to be such a person who I wouldn't have doubted had even the angels came and told me about it!' he told his sister
-He looked so pained about the misunderstandings that this had created between him and Jodha!
-He looked so pained that he'd have to tell his Jodha Begum that she's not actually pregnant
-He looked so pained that he'd have to tell Jodha that it was HIS OWN SISTER that had caused her all this!

Whatever BB's justification, I don't think she'd ever have the same position in the palace/with the viewers again!
I actually cheered when he told her he'd decide her punishment tomorrow but tackle Shareef first. Alas! Jalal stopped in his tracks when she wailed - which I hoped he hadn't! [INDIAN bhai-behen DRAMAš]
As expected, Shareef made a run for it ditching his wife - shouldn't BB understand what a disgusting man he is even now? I guess that's traditional 'Pati parameshwar' strees for you!
10) JALAL-JODHA-BB
While Jodha is taunting him for ill-treating BB - he had only one line to say INSTANTLY 'Do you even know that you're not pregnant?'
This has to be the line of the season! Finally, a fitting end to the I DID IT...DIDN'T DO IT! *Phew*š
I had to love that he let BB do the talking while he just walked away! He knew Jodha is not going to believe him for then, so he ensured his sister explained it all while he left the two ladies to their discussions.
Sometimes, the CVs come up with DIRECTORIAL masterpieces and today was one such!
Be it the BB-Jalal confrontation or Ja-Jo one!
Obviously, a couple of places editing left a bit to be desired, but when the tracks begin to show some progression - I can overlook the editing, can you too?š
