These two characters never fail to amuse me with their antics.
Rashid: the nerve of this man. I still dont understand, does he enjoy hurting this children? First he failed to put his children over his freedom and now again he fails in putting his children over his own selfishness. So he really doesn't care about how much pain his decision will cause Ayaan, Nikhat and Noozhat. Did he not see the effects of his prior selfishness on Asad?
Dilshad: Talk about being a doormat. So this man leaves you and your children in the midst of poverty and never looks back for 17 years. Then comes back and wants to take you home (where this current wife and two children live) and your just all happy to go. I can understand as a "wife" or "lover" your willing to forgive, but as a mother. How can you forgive the permanent pain and psychological effects this has left on your own children. How can you forgive him for stripping your son of a children, stripping your daughter of even a slightest memory of what a father is? And how can you do to another woman what was done to you and your children 17 years ago? It doesn't matter if Shireen deserves it or not, how can you as a person do that to them.
On a side note. I am very curious to see who Zoya will support in all this. Until now, I have always felt that Asad has been more sensitive towards Zoya's childhood trauma as opposed to Zoya in regards to Asad's childhood. She seems to always want to see Rashid's side of the story just like Dilshad. Or she doesn't seem to understand why he hates his father. I fail to understand why. I hope she supports Asad and whatever decision he wants to take in this case. After all Rashid has done, and now when Dilshad once again will pick Rashid over her own son, I hope Zoya stands by Asad 100% and doesn't try to change how he feels about the situation. Because if she cant understand this sorrow of his, I don't think she has understood him at all.
ESP bc Rashid truly deserves to be hated by all this children for the eternal selfish person he is. Cant wait to see Asad kick him out. Hope Ayaan does the same.
