In the original epic, characters like Duryodhan, Aswathama, Dushashan, Satyawati, etc. were shown to be grey (more black than white), but in this interpretation of Mahabharat, CVs are clearly differentiating them by making them seem like pure evil. I am in no way saying here that these characters were good, and did no wrong. But in those times, they didn't use such explicitly negative language like Duryodhan in this series. Duryodhan's face is always shown with negative evil expressions.
Instead if they showed him in greyish black light, it would seem more real. He was obsessed about being King because of his father's and Shakuni's influence. But, he wasn't on the extreme category of evil like Ghori. I don't respect him nor his actions, but seeing the story as it really was, would feel better.
Does anyone here agree with me?
