Running Away - Aarya FF

I know I am sorry about the VERY late update! I have been so busy with my work that I haven't been able to update so I am very sorry for that!

Part 5

So Maansi thought we should go to the mall, so we went to the mall for no reason! We entered the mall, I pretty much know my way around, I spent ages and ages going around in circles just to look for a decent store.

'Oi!! Aarti!! Hello?!''

Maansi was stood right in front of me waving her fingers in my face trying to get my attention. I really need to stop day dreaming.

'what?''
'you gave been staring at that guard for like a minute!''
'was I? really? Oh no did that guard see me? Did he really see me? That's just waay embarrassing.''
'no you got lucky, he didn't see you! Come on lets go window shopping!''

So we did some window shopping and actual shopping. I bought some new shoes and a top. Then we went to our favourite ice cream place, cream delight!! Honestly the ice cream is so creamy and wonderful! I love ice cream, butterscotch ice cream that too with warm melting jalebi on top!
We finished eating out ice creams and decided to walk around again. I saw that stationary store again.

'Aarti! Lets go there! I have been wanting to get a new book as I have finished reading hunger games! I need to read something before I sleep or else I cant so lets go in there!

Maansi pulled my arm to get my attention again. I checked both directions to see if that guy' was here, I saw there was no guy and walked along side Maans into the shop. We went in and went to the romance/love section of the store ( the shop was half a stationary store, half bookstore in case your wondering). She found her novel after reading the back of the blurb on every book on that row. She went to the cashier while I looked around still. I then joined her right when she was at the cash point.

'Hey Aarti, what's up? Why do you keep looking around for? Are you looking for someone? It is like you have had bad memories in this place!''
'Oh it is nothing, just... ughh never mind Maansi''

I said to her, I shouldn't tell her right now? She will probably bug me to tell her now.

'Oh come on Aarti! I don't like this, I know when you're nervous and don't say anything, I don't like it when you do that to yourself, you get all insecure and quiet and I know for a fact that isn't you! Now tell me what is up? What is it?

She answered as she finished paying. We paused at the side of the entrance and talked.

''I was here yesterday, i was looking for a stationary store to get my notepad for my new work as all my pages were used up but on my way here, I ran into someone''

Before i could continue, i checked to see if Maansi to see whether she was listening or not.

''someone? Who was it?''
''It was a guy of our age maybe older i dont know, I dont actually know him or I think I don't know him. He called me 'Dubs' and he even said that I used to be his friend before, I am guessing before my accident''
''Dubs, thats unusual, but he was friends with you? Oh yeah sorry, the accident, sorry yar.''
''No it's fine, but i am really curious to know who this person is and if all that he said to me was actually the truth''
'I will help you, I might've known him from somewhere maybe, What is his name?''
'His name is Yash Schindia''

We started walking towards the nearby bench, as soon as I told her his name, she froze.

'Maansi! Hello?''

I waved my hand in front of her but she remained still.

'I think you know him don't you?''

I said to her, I laid back on the rest behind me. This often happens to Maansi, she just freezes and I have to wait till she gets back to planet earth. I just wait for her to come back'. So two minutes later she is back to planet earth.

'Welcome back to earth Maansi!''
'Oh my word! Oh my word!! Oh my word!''
'um.. Maansi, are you okay? What happened?''
'Aarti Dubey!! Are you sure you heard the name right? Are you actually sure his name was that?''
'Yes! I am pretty sure I remembered his name, I am pretty sure of it! He said his name like three times! Why! Who is he then? Tell me''
'Oh dear! You must be kidding me! The Hot Stuff! The Yash Schindia! Everybody wants this guy and he wants you!! He was your friend before!! I might faint''
'I am not sure about being friends, remember? Accident? Everyone seems to forget that but me and I am the one who had amnesia! Jeez!''

I rolled my eyes at her, she scowled down at herself calming down a little.

' sorry but who actually is this Yash Schindia then?''
'Let's go back to my house and you will find out! I will tell you there about him and show you if this is the person you are talking about''
'Sure''

So we got in the car and drove to Maansi's house. We were quiet the whole way back. Maansi refused to talk about him and I had to wait until we got there, so I kept my mouth shut. Why was I so nervous to know about this Yash Schindia for? Was I linked to him or something? The answer will be revealed from Maansi hopefully!

[[THIRD POV]]

They got to Maansi's house after 20 minutes. Maansi and Aarti were like sisters, Maansi was the only child in her family and lived with only her mother in a small house fit for both of them.

''Come on Maansi, tell me about the Yash Schindia guy''
''I will show you, just wait a minute!''

They ran up the stairs like little kids. They got into the room, Aarti sat on the bed anxiously waiting for Maansi to show her. Maansi frantically looked through all her belongings to find 'that something'

''Hurry up then''
''Aarti! wait a sec! I want to make this all dramatic! just wait until I show you! be more patient! I am still trying to figure out how you don't know this guy!''

Maansi got out her giant poster that was folded up, she handed it over to Maansi. Aarti's heart was beating like crazy.

[[Aarti's POV]]]

Here I go, I dont know why this is such a big deal and why Maansi was making a major deal of this and why am I? I looked at the giant poster in front of me. I literally stared at the poster for like a minute, my jaw dropped, I mean seriously? I couldn't believe what I was seeing!

'Maansi! That's him! That's actually him!''

I looked around her room and I saw a frame with his photo. It was like Maansi was a teen all over again! She is 22 and she is really bad!

'wait''
'what Aarti?''
'How do you know this Yash Schindia, how come you have a giant poster? Is this guy famous or what?''

We sat on the bed and searched on the ipad that was lying on her bed., I tried to look at Maansi and what she was typing but she kept it away, not letting me see what she was typing and hid it from me. I was so eager to know! She finally passed the ipad to me after she was done, it was opened on a website.

'who is he and this guy has his own website? That's pretty impressive but still who is he?''
'Oh my god Aarti! Just read the bio for god's sakes! You're so silly sometimes!''

I read what was in front of me in my mind, it said this Yash Suraj Schindia (born 2nd October 1969) . Yash Schindia is known for the one of the worlds most wanted' wedding planner (So this Yash is a wedding planner? What is so good in that?) He is also a writer/singer and also sings at weddings. He has become famous for his beautiful creations and his songs that are now been playing everywhere.'

'Wait, so you are telling me that thus Yash Schindia is a wedding planner that everyone wants because he also can sing? His birthday is also in the same month as mine!''
'that's why I was so suprosed when you told me you met him and you didn't even recognize him! He is like the best ever! I want to make him mine! He lives around here too I heard!''
'Seriously though, a wedding planner?''
'um yeah! He makes dream weddings and everything and he will sing for you with his guitar! He says he is married to his fans who like his music so that means he is married to me! He is so talented and HOT too!''
'So let me hear one of his songs, and Maansi? Don't forget you are not a teenager anymore! Ahahaha''

I said as I started to look his wedding designs on his website and also photos of him. Yep that is really him, it is really the guy I saw at the mall.

'He only has one album which made him even more famous!''
'that's really good for him but still, how did he know my name? And why did he call me Dubs' for?

Maansi calmed down after I said that, now it was serious talk, not really but still.

'I honestly don't know Aarti, that is really curious, you seriously don't know anything about him in the past?''
'No, I had visual amnesia, I can remember everything not faces and some images like buildings, I will know what they are but not what it looks like.''

We had like a minute silence between the two of us, just thinking and wondering who this mystery guy is, until I remembered something during my long stay at the hospital.

'Maansi, I remembered something, that day when I woke up from my coma after my accident, I remember clearly that my brother heard me saying something to me''
''Go on, I am listening..''
''He told me that as soon as I woke up, I said something, he told me that I shouted a name''

I paused for a second and looked at the picture of Yash on the ipad.

''He said that I shouted his name''
''Who's name?''
''Yash Schindia's''

DUN DUN DUN!! I will try to update more regularly as most of my exams i have now completed😳
