hmm...that can happen...otherwise there was no purpose of showing Meenu crying for her supposed still born female child...And they also showed that both Shiv & Anoop liked baingan ka bharta...They won't show these things just like that...it surely has a connection...so what you are saying is quite possible...it will be very twisted!

it doesn't make any sense to change surname...his parents are probably dead and the truth is whether blood related or not, shekhars are his true family...they loved him like their own son...shiv was favorite child for all of them even for meenu who knew his truth...whatever he is today is because of them so no matter what his past is it's not fair to cut them off

i don't think they will reveal the truth right away even if Shiv is Meenu's son or adopted from an orphanage. they will show the emotional turmoil before revealing the ultimate truth
