Friends, I was just thinking about all these spoilers re Bakshi Bano being the one who is mixing some ark in the milk and feeding Jodha, which Jalal finds out ...
... a possible new angle to this whole issue has just struck me which I want to share with all of you and ask your opinions!
See, so far we have all been examining only two theories:
1. Bakshi Bano may be forced by Sharif to do his dirty work for him, and thus she may be mixing this ark in the milk to keep the pregnancy symptoms continuing in Jodha, in order to help Sharif's plan.
2. Bakshi Bano may actually be working against Sharif and not for him. Thus she may have come to know that he mixed the ark in the sherbet to create pregnancy symptoms in Jodha, and Bakshi may thus be silently trying out some antidote to help Jodha come out of these pregnancy symptoms.
Now here is a third possibility that struck me:
Since Bakshi knows that Sharif secretly covets the throne of Jalal and wants to succeed him, she may have come to know that Sharif is plotting against Jalal's life. Bakshi may think that if there was talk of a waaris to Jalal, then Sharif's plans may go "phut", as even if he plots to kill Jalal, the unborn waaris can remain a threat or act as a buffer ensuring that Sharif can never ascend the throne unless the waaris was also killed (or Jodha was killed during pregnancy).
I am not exactly clear in my mind as to what plans Sharif may be making against Jalal, but could it be that Bakshi has overheard some plans and thinks that if there is some rumour that a waaris is on the way, Sharif may be checkmated in his plans?
So with this in mind, could it be that Bakshi herself thought of this idea of giving Jodha pregnancy-like symptoms so that Sharif's saazish is checkmated?
What Bakshi may not have anticipated is that since Jalal has not so far slept with Jodha, this mutual suspicion between Jodha and Jalal may get exacerbated as a side-effect of what Bakshi did, and to make matters worse, people like Maham may be fanning the rumours to humiliate Jodha ...
So if this surmise is correct, when Jalal catches Bakshi doing this ark-mixing in the milk, the truth may come out as to why Bakshi was doing this. And she may then say that she wanted to checkmate Sharif's plans by giving Jodha some pregnancy-like symptoms?
What do you all think? is this third angle also possible?
One thing I am not yet 100% clear in my mind on this theory, and I would like your views:
If Bakshi did indeed want to thus checkmate Sharif from some saazish by showing Jodha as pregnant, what could be that saazish of Sharif? Was he trying to kill Jalal which may be stopped by hearing news of waaris? Could this be the angle? Would Sharif be stopped in his plans to overthrow Jalal if he heard news that a waaris is also on the way?
Why I am asking all this is because one truth hit me as to why it may not be Sharif's plan but it may all be Bakshi's plan:
What would Sharif gain by showing pregnancy symptoms in Jodha? Was his plan to merely separate Jodha-Jalal by this rumour, hoping that if Jodha-Jalal split up there may not be a real waaris in future from them? This looks like an idiot plan, since Jalal can get a waaris from his other begums and sleeping partners in the harem! So it cannot be Sharif's plan to make Jodha look pregnant.
Hence it must be Bakshi's plan to somehow make Jodha look pregnant and thus to checkmate Sharif in some way silently, as she cannot openly go against her cruel husband!
Please folks, help me out on this one. What do you all think?
