Part 7

In an hour maan was in the premises of the asylum in which geet was kept. While walking through the corridor, he crossed many people who were mentally disable, some made weird voices, while other jumped and screamed without any reason. He kept his hand on his forehead as he wondered how she would have behaved seeing all them... when he was getting rigid seeing these people; she would have surely gone hysterical.

At the reception, he asked for Dr. Neeraj and soon he was escorted to his cabin. "so mr khurana finally got sometime from his business to look after that meek girl!!!" said neeraj as his eyes fell on his new visitor. "just because I am here, it wont mean I will listen all this crap of yours Doc" Said maan giving him his stern look while neeraj just shrugged uselessly. "trying to show me this attitude wont affect mr khurana... because how much power you has, you will always remain a week person for me who couldn't even take care of a vulnerable girl when she was in so much need!!"

"doctor for your kind information, it was me who had gotten her admitted in hospital, looked after her and even took all the tantrums she threw when none of you could help her!!! And today too, its my humanity which had brought me here or else I don't care a shit what happens to others!!! And it would be better if we come to business as none of us have time to waste" maan voice was full of authority he possesses... his posture was stiff and his eyes bore into neeraj.

Neeraj looked at the attendant and ordered her to show him geet's chamber. When maan reached her chamber, the attendant left him there alone. When maan stepped inside, he saw the room was dark and in silence, there was the type of silence which give you eerie feeling, he could feel a coldness through his spine with the surrounding itself.

His leather shoes made noise as he stepped inside and heard some sobbing sound. "mat chuo, please chale jao... mai kuch nhi karungii" he heard her meek voice, not her usual screams. He followed the direction of her voice, and then decided to search for lights first. With the noise his shoes made, geet got more scared and whispered to leave her alone, she won't do anything again.

Soon he found the light switch and switched it on, only to see the room empty. He got confused; as he was sure he had heard her voice. Soon he again heard the sobbing sound and understood she was hiding somewhere. He followed the sound and reached near the iron bed that was laid in a corner of the room. He looked down the bed only to see her cringed in a ball position under the bed.

Her eyes were closed tightly, while her face was filled with tears and she was shaking widely. He didn't understand what had gotten so wrong to make her behave this way!!! Her condition was getting worse day by day. "geet" he whispered in his deep baritone only to make her cringe back.

"geet mai maan" he said as he moved his hand to touch her, but she dared not open her eyes and cringed back as his fingers brushed her hand. She was cold, he realized and was way too scared. He knew she wasn't going to listen him this way and thus bending down under the bed, he pulled her hard by waist swiftly making her jolt in fear and cry louder.

As she was out, he tapped her shoulder as he again said, "geet mai maan hu... geet" he shook her by shoulder to make her come out of her reverie, and when her spell broke, she looked at him with shock, still not sure if he was there.

"comeon get up, sit on bed geet" he said as he stood on his feet forwarding his hand to her to hold. Geet still just looked at him with wide eyes, still trying to believe if he was really there. Seeing her not reacting, he himself pulled her by hand and made her sit on bed, while she winced with the pain in her hand because of all the wounds and the punctures made by drips.

He looked at the jug that was kept on one side and brought a glass of water for her. Softly he kept the end of the glass on her lips, while she gulped guzzle of water, all the time her eyes were fixed on him as hot salty liquid spilled from her orbs. After he wiped off her tears, his eyes fell on the red patch of skin on her white cheeks, and his blood boiled realizing she was hit in the hospital. How can someone act so rudely when she didn't even knew what she is doing.

"ye kaise hua" he asked as he touched her cheek with his fingers, making her wince with sting. "tum nhi aye, tumne chocolate bhi nhi diya... ye gande logo se bhi nhi bachaya... tumbi gande ho!!!" she said as she pushed his hand away and went on the far corner of the bed keeping her legs folded and looked away from him.

He closed his eyes to control the anger that raced through his blood seeing the way the hospital treated her and tried to calm her down. "geet I was busy, had some work to do!!!" but she was in for none. "tum nhi aye, tumko pata hai ye log mujhe yha le aye, kuch gande logo ne mujhe mara bhi!! Ye dekho" she pointed at the red patches that were on her wrist and on her legs... "mujhe chot bhi lagi, dard bhi ho rha hai!!! Sab gande hai yha!!! Mujhe nhi rehna yha!!! Dar lagta hai insabse" she said as she sobbed, trying to control herself but she couldn't. all this was just confusing her too, much and the way people treated over here scared her more.

He looked at the red mark on her wrist and got really angry as he realized they looked like marks of some rope. "kaun the wo log!!" he asked as he got worried thinking someone tried to molest her when she wasn't in her senses or may be even succeeded in their step!! He didn't know how to ask her what they did.

"kya kiya tha unhone bolo!!! Kaun the tumko pata hai???" "pata nhi!!!" she said as she shrugged her shoulders. "wo logo ne mujhe mara aur chillaya bhi... geet ro rhi thi but unhone phir bhi nhi suna" she cried as she moved toward him on her knees and hugged him by chest, keeping her head on his neck.

He got stiff with the sudden move of her but then he felt her hot tears sliding down his neck and decided to push his emotions on a side. He kept his hand on her head and patted slowly, like a father would do to his child who cried after getting scared. "mujeh nhi rehna yha... geet dar jati hai!!! Tum wapas to nhi jaoge na... wo log aajaenge" she said hiding her face in his neck as she hugged his neck tightly almost throttling his neck but he cared none. He just kept patting her head while she let out everything out.

It took him an hour to calm down and make her agree to sleep, as could tell she was tired. After he was sure she was fast asleep, he released the breath he was holding since the time he saw the red marks on her skin and decided to confront neeraj. With fast wide steps he reached neeraj's cabin and pushed open the door with a thud.

Neeraj got shocked with the sudden interruption and looked at maan in anger. "mr khurana behave, that's my cabin not your office""do hell with all this doctor neeraj!!! What type of a hypocrite you are ha... just few minutes back you were taunting me of being a careless person ha and what you all had did to her just in two days, do you have any idea" maar barked as his eyes turned red in anger.

"what do you mean by that???" asked neeraj confused.

"oh why are you behaving as you don't know anything. Your people hit her, misbehaved with her or may be even tried to molest her!!! For god sake the girl doesn't even know what have happened to her, how monster type of people you hire doctor neeraj"

"mr khurana, molesting is a very big crime of which you are accusing us of!! Remember we had called you but you didn't had time to look at her... the girl refused to cooperate and we need to atleast have her unconscious to move her over here. But some how she was moved over here, and as I had already told you that asylum isn't an easy place where you can show your tantrums, she got hyper seeing the nurses who came to check on her. She ever tried to attack them and to get her in control they had to slap her so that she succumbs to their wishes. She was tied on bed so that the people can examine her over."

"still you let all that happen with her!!! That was very rude and torturous on your behalf doctor neeraj" maan barked at him as he kept his fist on table.

"mr khurana I wasn't here when all that happened and you cant blame my staff as well. you need to understand everyday people over here have to deal with people who don't even give a damn to the attendants. They need to apply force for even a simple task of giving medicine as they cant tolerate the nuisance the patients created. I had already said she will have tough life over here and that's why I was asking you to take her over as this may give her an adverse effect."

"just saying all that doenst mean you did right and yeah I wont let her live over here for a minute longer. You guys don't even have an inch of humanity, just know to speak. I want you to make all arrangements to shift her over my house and moreover I want you to get me a nurse, if possible a female one ready whenever I need help with her, and make sure I want a female nurse who have little bit of humanity not the once who don't care a damn before hitting others, though I will ensure the chances of such help are very less. And moreover give me a complete list of things which I need to look after and her medicines too."

"mr khurana are you sure about the decision, because I don't want you to come tomorrow again with a mind change"

"doctor neeraj, if I will have problem with her, I will endure to get her shifted to a place where people care for her not where she is treated like a cat or dog and being tied whenever she misbehaves."

"hum kha ja rhe hai" geet exclaimed in excitement as she sat beside maan in the backseat of the Mercedes. He was checking some of his mails as he answered, hum ghar jar he hai" geet was super excited now as she jumped on the seat thinking she is going her home now. "geet sit straight" he ordered seeing her behaving like a kid, then his eyes fell on driver who was watching her action through the rear mirror and glared at him in response.

Geet just ignored at his order and kept her hand on the glass of the window, looking out at the large buildings and squealing in excitement. After all after a week she was out of the rooms surrounding by white walls and machines, and was in open inhaling fresh air. "geet be quiet and sit straight" he ordered loudly, making her jump in fear and sit down silently, keeping a finger on her lips. She looked at him with her doe shaped eyes while he just held his head at her antics and wondered whether he did right bringing her home.

If she had given him a headache in an hour of drive, god knows what she will do further when she will live with him under the same roof.

Well I am very excited as after all this emotional hospital scenes, we are moving on the story now!!!😉
