Both of the films are amazing, and best in their genre.
But want to see which one is more better. I would give KHNH 10/10 and plus Veer Zaara a 10/10 also. 😆

But somehow KHNH tops my list.<3

NONE.
Both were amazingly PRETENTIOUS movies.
Though the script of veer-zara was AWESOME, but yash ji somehow failed to do complete justice with the treatment & presentation of an outstanding story, imho.

Kal Ho Na Ho.

Remove the name of Yash Chopra from Veer-Zara's credit, it would look like another mawkish movie that Akki's friends (Raj Kanwar, Dharmesh Darshan, Suneel Darshan, ) used to make during the 2000s. 😵

No comparison.
KHNH is miles ahead in terms of entertainment, music, and overall production values.

Veer Zaara is pretentious shit.
Yea, let's make the fact that one is from India the other from Pakistan the main obstacle, but ignore the more glaring obstacle...which was inter-religious marriage. One was hindu, another muslim.
As a muslim pakistani woman, I know my family wouldnt care if I end up with any ethnicity. But they sure as hell would care if the man is muslim or not. That goes for most, Pakistani muslim families.
Way to not even address that issue.

Kal ho na ho. I loved that movie! About veer zaara, what desigal said, way to just ignore the issue, I know my dad would probably have a heart attack if I didn't marry a Muslim

Neither.
As a pure romance, Kuch Kuch Hota hai. Kal ho na Ho was so freaking melodramatic with SR crying like television heroines. 😆 And Veer Zara was stupid. 😆 Swadesh any day.
