Recent reports suggested that Hiten Tejwani aka Manav of Pavitra Rishta was planning to quit the show. But we learnt that the actor has no such plans and is just taking a short break from the Zee TV serial.
Talking to Screen, Tejwani stated, "All reports of me quitting Pavitra Rishta are wrong. In fact, I am enjoying a break and at the same time, working hard in the gym for my role in a film called Tere Aane Se. The film is being directed by Agnidev Chatterjee." Giving details about the film, he adds, "I have been asked to shed as much weight as possible and look good as my character is that of a college student. My physical changes will not suit the character in Pavitra... so it made sense to take a break." Tejwani also added that he is not the kind to leave a show mid-way. "My contract with Pavitra Rishta is till early next year, so there are no chances that I will quit the show in between," he added.
