agree with everything you said and i understand where nikhil is coming from but it still frustrating though. im glad that his feelings for ishaana just didn't disappear. i would be more concerned if it did so easily, without much influence. its one of those things that i love about nikhil's character that he loves deeply, completely, and is fully committed to that love. the only thing that concerns me is when ishaana comes in the picture it's a total disregard and almost lack of respect on his part towards laajo. i know he stressed out that there will be no feelings on either end and he doesn't know how laajo feels about him but it would still be upsetting if i have to continuously be thrown the image and the name of a woman that i barely know. a woman that i eventually find out is in love and has been in love with my husband for almost their entire lives. it would be uncomfortable and annoying almost as if somehow ur not measuring and probably wont ever measure up to that woman in question. in this moment, laajo is definitely the 3rd wheel and i got that since they promoted the show but i feel bad for her and i just want her to do something, other than having to face being humiliated by his family.
nani will fall for laajo first, but it will be a long time from now. i think she might fall for laajo charm and innocence and might be interested in knowing more about her when it is conducted in private, but i think when it comes to the family she might maintain that oblivious front. it might take a while before she actually fully supports laajo in front of the entire family is basically what im trying to say.
i now see ur and agree with ur view on rather having the second lead come in as friend for laajo and rather have the "jealousy" on nikhil's part where Ishaana is fading out. however, do you mean out of the picture entirely or out of nikhil's frame of mind and heart?
