Episode 430 Discussion: 15th Nov 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Note for Newcomers to this thread.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

hum kyun lade the RK? 😆 not tht i'm complaining ke sab apne aap theek ho gaya..at least humari analysis ki izzat rakh lo kabhi ...i love RM & I wanna cherish these moments..kal ho na ho..

The first part of the episode felt a little filler-is to me. Lots of time spent with Roma's talking to Madhu about pretty much the same thing, Madhu sitting at the chawl, Madhu gazing at the gate, Madhu in front of Bappa, Madhu waiting for the orange flower to drop etc. etc. etc.

I have to say that I found the entire thing a little too convenient - there seemed to have been no real rationale on the reason for RK's volte-face. The events of the morning and the day before seemed to have completely disappeared, like they never were. Of course, it is possible that RK is just putting up a temporary show for Madhu. I'm thinking diabolical twists. In any event, I decided to just take everything at face value. And ended up enjoying the episode.

I did like Romas words to Madhu re: meeting problems head on and fighting them
Sniff. I missed that chawl. Got all teary-eyed seeing it after so long.
Madhu prays to Bappa to send RK. And lo and behold - car shows up, first Bittuji, and then - after long moments, the orange flower drops - it's our very own droolicious RK!
Loved both of them looking at each other to the BG of that song. RK is tuned into Madhu as always, and I loved that he considered her feelings important enough to apologize and make up. Aww...they hug, and head back to RK mansion to celebrate.
Evilness and Dips are stunned to see the house lit up again. RK BBBs Evilness a little, followed by a "just kidding!"
RK persuades Weakling to participate in the pooja, by emphasizing that it would make Madhu happy, and in Madhu's happiness lay his own happiness. Weakling sees a ray of hope. Hopefully she also got the message?
RK and Madhu look beyond gorgeous in their festive attire. I loved those sweet moments, where they do the Ganesh aarti together, with Madhu's hand subtly supporting RK's. And can I say that their praying to Bappa always makes me feel good?
Evilness manages to get in a nasty aside about getting rid of ashubhs in the house., as Weakling watches on.
A glowing Madhu prays for happiness to enter the house.

although, this is what makes MB different, but they must tone down the dramatization now and follow simple narrative for some sequences...there was no need to show scenes like Madhu returning back to RK mansion and it was all dark and gloomy , everyone missing (Pabo aur Dips kya patake lene gayi thi?) , Madhu coming to chawl and RK coming to take her back...why not show a simple scene where Madhu returns, she and RK talk and sort out their differences and both make the preps, decorate the house together and call Radha? tht chawl twist was senseless bec. Padmini and Trishna are always on outdoor and poor Malik , unka koi naam nishan hi nahi hai...

ETA did this make sense ke Madhu was sad without RK when the whole day she didn't care to talk to him or at least be upset when she came back ? it was the day of diwali and they cud have cancelled the shoot for 1 day..if she can do it for KC, why not Diwali? and RK , plz at least Radha ki tarah usko pendulum na banao 😆

RK is putting on a mask.. That is what I felt.. After quite a long time, I saw a calculative engineering a situation wala RK, throughout the episode. There was not an ounce of warmth exuding from him... This scares me at this point of time... It was almost like some khichdi is surely cooking on in his mind. Paabo was taunting Madhu as abshaguni and he was standing with a calculative smile.

yesterday the lines that were played at the end of the episode were not very comforting either and his today's "main ek yaadgaar diwali banana chahta hoon" shook me up very badly.

He must have come to some conclusion after yesterdays thoughts, fbs, his state of mind,etc... He has always been a man-in-control of the situation n if circumstances make him a victim of a situation, and is pushed to the corner, he rebels in a very kameena manner...

I for one hope he doesn't pull off anything distasteful on Madhu... I hope am proved wrong in my observations.

And no precap also

ETA: RKs paralysis looks more n more clunky for making the movie heroine -centric.. With a lil / no support itself, RK is able to do everything.. I don't see a point as to why his role had to be scrapped.. His action scenes could have been cut n more drama could have been added..
I am happy that RK is up n about in his life but it doesn't take away the clunk right..

Just caught up with both the episodes. Just loved RK in yesterday's episode totally.

The name of this track should have been "Paralysis RK ishtyle". I mean I have not met anyone who can rock paralysis the way RK does. What style, what attitude 😎. Kal CVs ne use andha bhi banaya toh bhi he will shine brightly rocking blindness in all his hot, in your face avatar.

I feel like CVs are those hawkers (in Marathi we call them pheriwale) who get the kids on those huge merry go rounds. So the ride all the way up is nice and slow but when we are at the peak, we just come crashing down. Then we get up, dust ourselves up and go stand in the line again. Those who get badly hurt, slink away dragging themselves muttering angrily tending to their wounds. Those who haven't had enough fun yet, rush back in the line. Those who are onlookers, some of them get intrigued and decide to give it a try and skeptically go stand in the line. Some even tend to their wounds while standing in the line. CVs will cater to all kinds of kids in the line. No height, weight or age restrictions here, everyone is welcome.

I liked the flower symbolism regarding Bappa helping Madhu. Why? Because this rarely happens in the real life. If I can't make it happen in real life, at least Madhu can do it in the reel life, so more power to her. My takeaway from this is, Bappa will see her through all the obstacles in her life.

Now I don't know if yesterday's fall and RK's reminiscing past helped him behave calmly today or is he deliberately putting on an act for Madhu. Whatever, I liked that today he took a respite from him angry avatar.

Barring everything, I liked that Madhu and RK were happy, smiling. Seeing them smile makes me smile. I really love to see them both doing the aarti together. Baas. After a week's worth of rona dhona, I will take an epi or two of happiness. It will fortify me for the upcoming "twist" whatever that may be. Jab aayega dekha jayega.

You are most welcome dear Charu, I also watched the video I made to avoid seeing other people scenes instead of rewatching the last entire four episodes,and I understood how much it's relieving to infer the other bad events scenes including other characters only through flashbacks instead of watching their entire scenes, I also felt a nice flow with the scenes of the last four episodes, it started from Madhu taking the responsability to finish the film, Rk supporting her at the beginning and then all the growing tension within him till the blast and the emotional scene of Rk in his bedroom

Today's episode was a light one, tension disappeared, not that I complain but wouldn't it have been nice if RK and Madhu discussed the matters and had a heart to heart conversation, then the impact of the reconciliation would have been more powerful. But chalo theek hai, to give it some logical explanation, I'll take the scene of Rk in the bedroom and the flashbacks he saw along of course with his love to madhu as a catalyst to the reconciliation, let's say that him remembring Madhu talking about their small world where there is nobody else apart from both of them gives him a proof that Madhu is only interested in him and not in his stardom or in the cinema industry (since she was ready to leave everything behind and go with him), also her saying that she is his biggest fan and that she loves him in that flashback must have made him feel better.

I think superstitions are still overshadowing the show, just like the fact that if the orange flower drops Rk will come!!!!!!
I would have prefered Madhu's love, faith in her love and understanding of how much she means to Rk to be what leads her to the conclusion that Rk will definitely come, it starts to get annoying to wait for a supposedly miracle everytime to solve a problem!!! next time if the yellow flower drops then Rk will be ok and his paralysis will disappear😆
