Oh Nandy, I was kind of dismissive of pramad, watching SAMUD, with all my heart and soul 😃
I know CVs are trying to bring in more complications ! But the story is being stretched like a chewing gum with complete lack of creativity ! And that seems such a waste of all the hard work, and the excellent cast.!

no words for the casts they r just out of the world
and cvs dont know how to use them

ALSO, WE DONT WANT KUMUD TO FEEL PITY FOR PRAMAD, AND DECIDES TO STAY WITH HIM AND NOT GET THE DOVORCE---IS THIS WHY SARAS IS HESITANT TO TELL HER THE TRUTH ABOUT PRADAD --- KUMUD IS A GROWN WOMAN AND KNOWS WHAT IS GOOD FOR HER AND ALSO BAD FOR HER -- CV'S SHUD GET IN TOUCH WITH PRAMAD'S PARENTS AND GET THEM TO GIVE HIM SUPPORT AT THIS TIME --- KUMUD IS NOT HIS BLOOD RELATION AND THEY DID NOT SHARE A LIFE TOGETHER -- SO PLS TAKE NOTE OF HOW YOU WRITERS WILL HANDLE THIS SCENARIO --- THE STORY IS ABOUT THE LOVE OF SARAS AND KUMUD, YOU GUYS ARE DOING A GREAT JOB SO KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK... THE WORLD IS DEPENDING ON YOU GUYS... 😆😆😆

I am so late, but here I am!
The present crop of CVs are so unimaginative when it comes to shaping up a story with believable content. Refer to the blind insertion of Kalika and Kusum into the turf under the most flimsiest of circumstances. But they do know that the unique selling point of this enterprise is SaMud scenes. But how long can the leads alone be the 'beasts of burden' in carrying and sustaining the viewership of the show? Speaking for myself, I don't watch the show only for the leads, I need a strong story to back up the good work by the cast. Unfortunately, there seems to be so much scarcity of ideas in the creative department that they churn out these ridiculous twists and turns without paying heed to careful execution of exposition and that, my friend, is highly intolerable after some point.

The very many sensitive issues the show has touched upon so far have been handled in such disgracefully impetuous fashion that this whole 'adaption' is nothing but a desecration of the highest order.
I have quite a few issues with the storyline which don't sit well at all with me
-Kalika providing impetus to Kumud's love epiphany.
-Kumud doing nothing whatsoever about Kalika staying around at the Desais', She not raising her voice against Kalika being a concubine is incongruous to the way she's been portrayed so far. Especially when Kalika is married to her own cousin and is still a liability.
-The Desais feeling grateful to Kalika as though this very blood donation act magically discounts her homicidal attempt on their daughter during the Navratri festivities.
-Saras not opening his mouth about the open-ended promise made to Kalika.

Let me not start about my take on Kusum, for I will go bonkers. A solid foundation has never been laid convincingly for the character Kusum to show signs of 'getting cheated in love'. This character is now getting effed up just like Pramad's. The 'greyness' in him was greatly demolished and was reduced to a "70s b-grade baddie caricature", as Ivy would say. Basically what I'm trying to say is that everything about the baddies in the show looks so 'forced', if you know what I mean.

But as they say, old habits die hard. I still read the WU and FF many scenes to keep my sanity at check while watching. Let's see how long I'll 'survive' this set-up 😳
Sorry for the longish rant!

PS: Love your post. Pure.concentrated.awesomeness. =)

Cheers to your patience and positivity and it has rubbed on me too. Yes, we have been with Saras and Kumud since last 9 months and know them pretty well by now. They may separate for a while to bring twist in the story but their love and ehsaas will remain the same .

Thanks so much for the "longish rant' as you put it.

-couldnt agree more, with all that you have said.
@Bold
Lack of imagination and believing that the twists and turns can come only through inane plots such as Pramad and Kalika-which itself is unimaginative to start with.

It does become impossible to tolerate.

Again, the last two weeks has seen a sudden spurt in some fantastically executed SAMUD scenes. My point is only, that if there is someone out there who can write those scenes, and execute them to such perfection, why not for the rest of the episode as well?

I do wish, somewhere our protests are heard. ! As you say old habits die hard. Maybe it is time, however, to shift to reading the responses, and then watching the episode! 😊

I don't know what I'd be doing if I'd actually read the novels🤣 As it is I feel so cheated🤢
@Bold: I've been doing that for quite sometime, reading CB and then deciding on if I should be committing myself to this torture daily😆

Aside:
I watched today's episode despite your warning😳 Well, let's see how they shape up this new Pramad track. It's interesting...

Good post Sudha! We def don't want a samud re union at the last episode. We want it now and officially! Saras needs to ask for Kumud's hand ASAP!

We don't want saras kusum in any shape or form. It's too much to handle. It's killing us inside. Please.
