I fully agree with your views from your very first sentence to the last line.
Saraswatichandra has the fantastic lead pair and a good supporting cast . They all are gems . Don't want their talents to be wasted.The writer of the book Goverdhanram Tripathi too was strongly criticized 100 years ago, that as a reformer why did he not marry Kumud to Saras . It would have sent a strong message in favour of widow re-marriage at that time.
Now the present writers have an opportunity to bring reforms in our society so please do not give importance to the issue like widows cannot marry.

And the Pramad dialogue yesterday sent signals of widow remarriage as some kind of taboo... it may not happen that way... but I feel they have no right to even suggest that it is wrong for a widow to remarry!
