Prologue

The sun rose in Bhopal and was ready to spread light. But the light has been missing from their lives. It looked like light couldn't harbor into their lives & only darkness evaded them. Smiles disappeared within the hidden sorrow. All could be heard were the silent sobs. All that could be seen was the road each tear took to travel down the surface of the cheeks. No smiles plastered the faces. They were lost so deep that no way out could be found. Trapped in a maze with no exit. Question marks hover across the head of each person. Questions oscillating like a pendulum. Back and forth, Back and forth, but never being answered.

If Allah is a well-wisher, then why? Why has the smiles disappeared? Why there are only tears?

Why does it seem like they're living in a void? So hollow so empty...

Seeing Zoya, anyone could tell that she was not a human being but a live corpse. It felt like someone has took her soul out of her body. True it was. She was facing the worst situation ever. All she could think was why is it happening again? Why the past has repeated once again?

Asad trying to hide his emotions as always but he was like the injured lion who was so helpless in this situation. All he could think was it's his fault. He failed in protecting his family & keep them happy. He felt he has hurt Zoya.

Dilshad was praying with praying beads in her hand. Tears were making way out of her eyes slowly. All she could think was why her children always? Why they have to face this ruthlessness in life? Her fear was visible in her prayer.

Sitting on the bench holding onto each other were Ayaan & Humeira both deep in thoughts. Thinking of a way they could end this misery.

But...

Is Zoya's past really getting repeated? Will she again loose the one she loves forever?

Will Dilshad's fear come true? Will again her children face the worst in their life & lose everything?

Is it really Asad at fault? Has Asad really hurted Zoya? Has he really failed?

Is there really a way by which Ayaan & Humeira could end this misery?

Many questions and only Allah can give the answers...

p.s. :

I chose Adya as Asad & Zoya's daughter's name for 2 reasons.

1st, its Shalini's (Dilshad) daughter's name & she is too cute...😊

2nd, it is from Asad-Zoya's name 'AD' from Asad & 'YA' from Zoya...ban gayi Adya...😃
