Well said - I do not think its fair to question someone's dedication to work because he sports another look to what we think looks better on him. We can choose to like or dislike the look, but judging the work ethics and professionalism is taking it too far.

Agreed - Also I think it goes with Asad's changing character. He is no longer the convention bound, Akdu Ahmed Khan who defined himself in such rigid terms. Somehow experimenting with looks makes sense for me. Calling him unprofessional for that is a little over the top. He has given his essence to the character of Asad, even though in the past few months he has had precious little support from script, direction or story telling. But as they say 'Kuch to log kahenge, logon ka kam hain kehna.'

Exactly my point. He has had very little and sometimes even nothing to do, When he did have screen space also, the role, the story at that point had nothing to offer to him, which was the case for a long time last few months, but he did keep at it and I've not seen his work falter, nor the dedication from what we've seen in the BTS. The thought process, the inclination and insight in the role is as it was in the earlier days as well. So just because he grew his hair, which BTW IMO do not change Asad's character more than what the writers can do with it, THAT should not be deciding his professionalism.
